CHAPTER 21

Pandora opened her eyes slowly. The morning light was already streaming through the window. She found that she was now leaning on Chengxin's lap and her legs were folded comfortably. The blanket was now over her only, while Chengxin was still sleeping while leaning on the wall.

'Eww!!!' Pandora suddenly said and removed her head from his lap.

The sudden noise made Chengxin wake up. He rubbed his eyes then looked at Pandora. 'What is it?'

'How did I end up sleeping so near you? Gross.' She got up from the spot.

'You leaned on me yourself and changed your position in the middle of the night, what's so gross about me anyway?' he rolled his eyes and stood as well.

'You should have woke me up or pushed me!' Pandora stormed out of the laundry room.

Chengxin shook his head and folded up the blanket they had sat on before putting it back in the laundry basket. He put the other one which he had taken from the couch on his shoulders then walked out of the laundry room.

As he walked to the living room, Jiaqi suddenly walked out of his room and put his arm over Chengxin's shoulder in the corridor. Chengxin looked at Jiaqi with surprise because he seemed excited.

'What's up with you?' Chengxin asked him in a groggy tone.

'Last night must have been a good night right?' Jiaqi smiled. 'After all those tries, she finally got that close to you?'

Chengxin stopped in his tracks. 'Wait, you guys saw that?'

'Uh-ha.' Jiaqi smirked.

'Haoxiang saw it too?' Chengxin sort of panicked.

'Yeah,' Jiaqi removed his arm from Chengxin's shoulder. 'But I guess you've made the decision to be with her anyway right? I'm sure Haoxiang is mature enough to accept it.'

Chengxin didn't know what he had decided, but he knew he wasn't going to let Pandora go. So he nodded instead. 'Yeah I guess he's mature enough. But...I don't know if she'll want to date me. Aside from this Haoxiang thing, she kept telling me she wouldn't date me because Nikita liked me...I don't know.'

'One step at a time, she's already in love with you dude. I can see it.'

The moment Chengxin and Jiaqi walked into the kitchen, they were greeted by the camera crew which was already filming the cooking. He had almost forgotten that they were on a show.

'Chengxin, I hope you and your bandmate have resolved your issues.' The director said to him.

'Yeah.' he answered, even though he didn't know if that was certain. He didn't know how Haoxiang even felt about seeing him and Pandora last night. But Haoxiang didn't even deserve a chance with Pandora, not after the story that Pandora had told him.

Soon enough, everyone gathered in the dining room for breakfast. And as usual, they started eating while conversing. This day, everyone was talking except Haoxiang. He continually looked into his plate and didn't once look up at anyone on the table.

'Okay guys. Today, Blue Moon Company has organized a dinner in honor of Nikita. It's sort of like a farewell thing. So all of you have to be there.' the director announced.

Whenever Pandora heard that name, her heart sunk a little bit.

Chengxin noticed her expression and tapped her hand. 'Hey, it's okay.'

She slightly smiled. 'Thanks.'

That evening, everyone had dressed up in suits and dresses that were brought over by Bliss TV. Everyone looked presentable, but Chengxin was taken aback by Pandora's elegant dress. She wore a nude colored short dress which had black horizontal netting on top of it. The netting ran from her bust to her ankles.
