CHAPTER 38

'Hey, what's going on?' Jiaqi asked as he walked in Chengxin's room after having been called to come. 'By the way, why's Rio crying in the living room?'

'Are you serious? She's still crying?' Chengxin sat up. 'You're an idiot Jiaqi, this is all your fault!'

'Whoa, what have I done?' Jiaqi asked as he sat down.

'I told the girl we can't act anymore now she's really sad about it. She says I'm acting just like Pandora.' Chengxin complained, 'I told you that it was a bad idea. It didn't even work, it just broke a girl's heart...that's all it's done.'

Jiaqi gritted his teeth. 'Man that's tough. I'm so sorry, I didn't know this would happen. You and Pandora are different though. Pandora chose Haoxiang over you after you guys shared moments and all, yet there's nothing that ever occurred between you and Rio.'

'Yeah, yeah, unless she thought so.' Chengxin sighed.

Jiaqi patted his shoulder. 'Just calm down. She'll get over it.'

'And if she doesn't then she'll end up like me...right? Sad, angry, confused.' he answered thoughtfully.

'Chengxin don't think like that!' Jiaqi explained to him, still patting his shoulder. 'You and Pandora had a two-way thing going on, Rio shouldn't make you feel bad by using the Pandora card. This is a situation where Rio just likes you and you don't. You have a right to say no, and that doesn't make you a Pandora.'

'I still made her cry,' Chengxin said as guilt overwhelmed him. 'I don't want anyone else to feel how I'm feeling.'

'You know what, you're crazy.' Jiaqi got up from the bed. 'I think your heart's broken too much for you to hear any sense from someone. Fine do what you want lover boy. You can't keep every girl from crying though. I'm sure a lot of fans cry because they can't have you.'

'At least I don't have to see it!' Chengxin got off his bed and moved over to the window.

'Yeah, yeah,' Jiaqi answered and got out of the room. He didn't know what to say next, he felt like his friend was losing it. As Jiaqi made his way from Chengxin's room to get to the living room, he bumped into Junlin in the corridor who was going the opposite direction.

'Why's Rio crying on the couch?' Junlin asked Jiaqi, pointing his finger to the living room.

'What the hell are you asking me for?' Jiaqi replied grumpily.

'Thought you're Chengxin's yes-man.' Junlin grinned.

'Shut up, you're the one who's been snitching on Pandora and Chengxin, Haoxiang kept bragging about how he made Pandora block and delete Chengxin's contact all because of you. Get your own girlfriend and stop involving yourself in other people's relationship.' Jiaqi started to walk over to the living room.

'Well to be frank, we both don't have girlfriends and we're busy with other people's relationships.' Junlin shrugged and continued to walk down the corridor to his room.

Jiaqi rolled his eyes. Damn it, he was right.

He walked into the living room, finding Rio still crying on the couch. He groaned.

'Rio can you stop crying? You don't even know Chengxin.' Jiaqi said with his hands in his jeans pocket, just irking to keep her from causing drama.

'What do you want me to do when the guy I love doesn't love me?' Rio lifted her head from her hands, exposing her tear-stricken face.

'You don't love Chengxin, it's something like...like a crush or something. Just stop doing this. The guy is already stressed with his issues about Pandora, I don't think it's fair for you to add another burden on him.' he reprimanded seriously. 'I guess it was really a bad idea to involve you in this, I didn't know you're so immature.'
