CHAPTER 14

'What!? Are you kidding me!?'

Pandora heard Rio's voice as she walked down the stairs that morning.

'Oh my goodness, that's so sad.' Zhenyuan was the next to comment. 'How can this happen?'

Pandora wasn't inside the living room yet, but she knew what they were talking about. She was secretly hoping that she would wake up to find that what happened to Nikita was just a dream, but it wasn't.

Pandora finally reached the bottom of the stairs. She was met by stares from all the members of TNT except Chengxin who was still asleep because he had slept in the wee hours of that day along with Pandora, stares from the groups' two managers and a stare from Rio.

'Good morning Pandora,' Apogee's manager was the first to speak. 'How are you feeling this morning?'

'Not...good.' she answered in all honesty. Her eyes were puffy from crying.

'Yeah I bet you feel terrible.' Haoxiang commented next in an icy tone. 'This is all your fault. I already told you there's a problem with your attitude but you thought you're better than everyone by not listening.'

'Haoxiang, don't attack her.' TNT's manager corrected him.

'But he's right.' Rio stated next, her arms folded and leaning on the living room couch. 'Pandora knew we weren't allowed to even leave this place, and she did the exact thing. She left because she was being dramatic all over again and now you've cost us our band mate. You're just so hard to handle.'

'You think I'm happy about this!? I love Nikita too, I didn't want this to happen.' She got defensive for a moment, before the words sunk in than before. 'But you're right. It's all my fault and I have no one else to blame.'

While they talked, the camera crew made it's way inside the house headed by the usual director.

'Oh please no, no filming.' Jiaqi complained. 'How can we have these guys here on such a day?'

'In fact, isn't the show going to get cancelled after what happened? We need to pay extra attention to Nikita rather than filming for his show that needs a lot of our time.' Rio spoke up.

'Oh please, this is emotional part of the show is going to be a good addition to it. In fact, today we'll have no activities, just scenes showing your reaction to what has happened.' the director answered. 'And in fact, your companies already signed on this show for you. You're gonna have to continue filming until we reach our finale of Episode 30.'

Pandora found it very annoying that they had the audacity to make the event that they were going through seem like it was for show. She wished she had the same temerity to speak against a decision like she usually did, but it seemed like she had lost it.

'Are you serious? This is about our friend...no, our sister. And you think we just be filming when she's...?' Rio was the one to speak instead, but she was stopped by Apogee's manager when he shook his head at her. She frowned.

Just then, Chengxin walked down the stairs all freshened up. He looked at the scene before him, but was quick to move to Pandora whom he was still worried about. But he didn't say a thing, but now she was acting like she didn't notice his existence.

'Anyway, you guys go on filming. I need Pandora for a moment.' the manager said to the group.

'Really?' Chengxin put his hand on her shoulder. 'Are you okay?'

She nodded.

'Okay let's go.' The manager said.
