Taming the Darkness (Series 3)

CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

"HAVE you found her?" tanong ni Billius kina Luthiel at Gaston. His tone sounded dark and cold. They are all outside of Veseva's house, waiting for their arrival.

Two months have passed since Zenaia was kidnapped by the Demon King. It's been two months long that his beloved was being tortured. He could feel all the pain from the bond that Zenaia was going through a lot, and it's driving him and his wolf, insane.

He will never give them any mercy. He swear that he will wipe all of their kind as soon as they've found out where they are hiding.

Luthiel and Gaston shook their head in response. They had stopped a couple of feet away from him, anxious that they will end up experiencing his rage. Billius had become very unstable because of what Zenaia is being put through. There are times that Billius is suddenly losing control whenever he felt a wave of incoming pain from the bond. It will always enraged his wolf, blinding his understanding, causing him to attack anyone near him.

"We've gone back to the cave but there's no one there. Palagay ko ay inililigaw nila tayo ng sadya," saad ni Gaston.

Luthiel summoned a huge fluffy couch from thin air. He looked completely worn out. Pabagsak itong naupo at sumandal sa upuan.

"Elkail and Mystic will go and search for her in the vampire covens. It is possible that one of them have something to do with the demons. Nalaman namin kanina na tatlo pa sa magkakapatid na pureblood vampire bukod kay Silla ang nakaanib kina Lucifer," lahad naman ni Luthiel.

"What about the Vampire King? Shouldn't we meet with him?" suhestiyon ni Veseva.

"It will be a huge waste of time," Billius growled. The sins flinched away from him, Luthiel's seat floating away in caution. "The Vampire King doesn't want to get involve. Let them be."

They all cautiously eyed him. The wild, feral look, had never left his golden eyes since the attack. Billius had been constantly growling as well. There wasn't a time that he was not furious.

No one had come near him, not even his werewolf friends who had been lookinf out for Sayla. They are too afraid to get hurt. The house had been in constant chaos because of Billius losing control from time to time that Veseva and Ambrose had made sure to keep their eyes on him.

Napaatras pa silang lalo nang muli itong mapasapo sa dibdib, mukhang muli na namang pinapahirapan si Zenaia at nararamdaman din nito iyon.

As soon as they saw his canines and his claws growing in length, Veseva immediately used her power to stop him from moving. Aside from taking turns in searching for Zenaia, the Seven Deadly Sins have been helping Cedric and his friends for keeping Billius in check. Ni hindi pa nila pinapaalam kina Zafrix Wolfe ang mga nangyari para maiwasan ang pagpunta ng mga ito.

"Let go of me Veseva, or I will kill you," Billius threatened through a growl and sent the Sin of Envy a murderous glare.

Veseva only gave him an annoyed look and shove him on all fours on the ground with her power. "You should stop trying to wipe everyone that's within your sight, Billius. You are giving us a lot of trouble. You are not the only one who wants Zenaia to be found."

Billius growled at her but couldn't move.

"What's going on here?" tanong ni Cedric nang matagpuan sila sa ganoong sitwasyon. Agad siyang lumapit kay Billius bago tiningnan si Veseva. He immediately understood the situation.

"Billius," tawag nito sa kaibigan.

Billius snapped his eyes towards his friend. He still looked livid.

"You need to calm yourself down. Hindi puwedeng hahayaan mo na lang palagi na mag-take charge ang wolf mo."

Billius just snarled at him in response.
