NAPAIGTAD sa kinauupuan si Zenaia nang bigla na lamang tumalon ang isang deranged at ibinangga ang sariling katawan sa bakal na pintuan. It's been a while now since she locked herself up inside the cell, giving her a temporary shelter.
The creature shrieked in pain as its flesh got burnt from the silver metal, letting out a hissing sound. Her eyes widened as she stared at the bent form of the silver bars where the deranged forcefully slammed its own body.
Lalo siyang napasiksik sa pader na kinasasandalan. Napatingin din ang iba pang mga deranged sa yupi na nasa bakal. Tila naisip din ang bagay na pumasok sa isip niya. Her heart stopped as they slowly get on their bare feet and get ready to do the same as the first deranged, a feral snarl forming on their dirty faces.
She never even thought that they can comprehend and understand a situation.
Mas lalong humigpit ang pagkakayakap niya sa mga tuhod habang pinapanood ang mga ito. Nangangamba na baka bumigay ang mga bakal at makapasok ang mga ito.
Soon enough, they began slamming their body against the silver bars of the cell door, living small dents on the metal, making it bigger after being continuously hit one after another.
Zenaia covered her ears as she flinches in fear. Her body started to tremble. Cold sweat began to leave her system. She let out a frightened whimper.
Unti-unti nang nasisira ang mga rehas dahil sa patuloy na pagbunggo rito ng mga bampira. Hindi na alintana ang nasusunog nilang mga balat sa tuwing tumatama sa pilak na bakal. Habang tumatagal ay papalaki na nang papalaki ang yupi. Hindi nga nagtagal ay isa-isa nang bumigay ang mga bakal. Naglikha ng malalakas na ingay ang mga iyon nang isa-isang bumagsak sa sahig.

Her heart stopped as she waited for them to come.
A loud bloodcurling scream echoed in the whole place as one by one, the deranged made their way inside the cell.

"AH!" Malakas na napadaing si Billius at napasapo sa dibdib.
"Why? What's wrong?" alalang tanong naman ni King Zafrix na siyang nakasaksi sa ginawa ng kaibigan.
Umiling si Billius. "I don't know. My chest is suddenly burning in pain. It felt like, something just broke. Pero hindi ko alam kung ano."
Bumakas ang pag-aalala sa mukha ni King Zafrix. They are now inside his office and was just talking about where they are going to search for Zenaia when Billius suddenly clasped his chest.
"I think something bad have happened," he said.
"Kay Zenaia?" tanong ni King Zafrix.
Billius straighten up. "Kailangan ko na siyang hanapin ngayon. Habang lumilipas ang oras ay mas lumalaki ang tsansa na malagay siya sa panganib," aniya.
"I agree. I will order my men to start searching for her as well."
Habang ginagawa iyon ni King Zafrix gamit ang mind-link ay nakarinig sila ng katok mula sa pintuan.
"Come in," utos ni Billius.
The door opened and revealed Kersten.
"Kersten," said Billius, acknowledging the new comer.
Yumuko naman si Kersten bilang paggalang. He was the third in command of King Zafrix's kingdom but was demoted as a tracker.
"Your guests are here. They are now waiting for you downstairs," sabi nito.
