Mia's POV
"Forget it! Forget everything!" I yelled at Jake who followed me to the cafteria.
"Mia we'll figure this out, just calm down!" He said in a comforting tone that didn't comfort me at all!
"Just drop it!" I replied harshly and took a seat at our usual table without getting any lunch.
"What happened to you?" Mike asked me as I literally threw my head on the table out of frustration.
"Well, Mia got back her mid term designing result and got a......" Jake was about to finish but I cut him off.
"Don't say it out loud!" I cried
"Ok...ok fine!" He held up his hands in surrender.
"A 'C'! Oh my god! I said it out loud!" My rage turned into sorrow now!
"A 'C'?!" Rachel almost choked on her pie.
"I thought you rocked that test!" Rebecca said.
"I thought I did too but then turned out that I didn't!" I blabbered.
"Can't you give a retest?" Nate asked me and I shook my head.
"This could really effect your over all result." Rachel pointed out.
"Thanks for stating the obvious! I really appreciate it!" I snapped and she rolled her eyes at my sarcasm.
"Can you please eat something atleast?" Jake passed me a cookie.
"I don't feel like eating, thanks." I pased it back and he sighed.
"LISTEN UP PEOPLE!" Someone really loud and really annoying screamed at the top of their lungs but still didn't manage to get anyones attention. I looked towards the entrance of the cafeteria and saw the principal's assistant. I figured he needed some help so I stood on my chair.
"Everybody shut up!" I screamed
"That's my girl......just blending in with the crowd." Jake remarked.
"Thank you Mia, that was very feminine of you." The principal's assistant said but I decided to ignore him and sat back down.
"Mr. Klaus wants you all in the auditorium. He wants to make an important announcement." He told us and we instantly got up because it's not everyday our principal makes announcements and when he does.....it's bad news!
We made our way to the auditorium and sat in the second last row.
"Good evening students." Mr. Klaus greeted but no one greeted him back. Poor thing!
"Ok.....so I'm just gonna make this quick because I know that you guys have to get to class in a couple of minutes. Now, the faculty and I realized that because of that trip to Paris, you missed a lot of classes and you can not simply give your final exams in a week so we have decided that you will graduate three weeks later. This way you will make up for the time you lost while you were on that trip and you'll have some time to prepare for your finals." He explained and all of us were okay with that.
"Does that mean Mark will have to come back?" Nate whispered.
"No, he already gave his finals. He left after giving them." I whispered back and he nodded.
"I believe that you have all received your results for mid terms. The people who think that they want a better grade can't do anything about it except one thing. Eventhough you can't give a retest, you can make up for extra credit by going for sports." He stated.
"Sports......it just had to be sports!" I whined. I desperately wanted an A in designing but my chance just got blown!
"Do you know sports?" Jake asked me.
