Mia's POV

 ***The next day***

“I’m engaged!” I screamed into my laptop. Rachel, Mona, Rebecca and I were having a conference call on Skype. I had told the girls now because I couldn’t believe it myself last night and asked Jake over and over again if he was kidding or not.

“NO WAY!” Rachel and Rebecca screamed in unison.

“Oh my god!” I was jumping now and Jake laughed at me with his eyes glued to the screen of his phone.

“So when is the big day?” Rachel asked excitedly.

“Not until Jake graduates.” I told her.

“And when is that?” Mona asked.

“A month later” I said and to a seat beside Jake on the couch.

“So like after my wedding right?” Rebecca said

“Yeah”

“I seriously cannot wait!” Mona said excitedly

“Are Mona and I the only ones who aren’t even engaged yet” Rachel said

“Forever alone babe” Mona added

“Let’s marry chocolate” Rachel proposed

“Flawless idea” Mona laughed.

“If you guys are done with your loner talk, there is something important I need to ask you.” I jumped into the conversation before it could go on.

“Fire away.” Rebecca said.

“Tess called dibs on being a bride’s maid. I need one more bride’s maid and two maids of honor.” I stated.

“Ooh, I’ve always wanted to be a bride’s maid!” Mona said

“Great! So that’s done.”

“I’ll be the maid of honor” Rachel picked the left over option and seemed delighted with it.

“Oh and Rebecca, you can be my matron of honor because you’ll be married by then.” I suggested

“Cool” Rebecca agreed.

My phone rang while we were still talking. I checked who it was and it was mom.

“Hey, my mom’s calling. I’ll talk to you guys later ok?” I said to the girls and hung up on Skype.

“Hi mom! I did tell you that I’m engaged right?” I answered the phone.

“Hey sweetie and yes I was the first one to know.” She reminded me.

“Oh ok, so what’s up?”
