Where are you, Jakey?!

Jake's POV 

I packed my bag with a couple of shirts and jeans. I switched off my phone because I was in no state to talk to anybody, even Mia. The date had finally come around the corner. 6 November. 

I walked down the staircase and found my mom sobbing. A pang of guilt hit me hard and I felt like committing suicide there and then. I had ruined her life and I will never be able to make things better for her.

"Mom.It's time to go." I sat next to her and placed my arm around her shoulder.

"I won't be going this time Jake. I want to move on and forget, so should you, baby." She suggested but I couldn't forget what I had done. I tried, but it was too hard and every time I ended up crying.

I got up and made my way to the door. I got in my car and drove to Rosewood High. I spotted Mia's car and placed the teddy bear in the passenger's seat. I took a deep breath and started my guilt trip to Rosenwood.

Mia's POV

Three days had gone by and I hadn't seen Jake. He never called, his phone remained switched off too. He didn't make contact with the boys either and all of us were crazy worried.

I sat on my bed after doing my homework and picked up the white teddy bear he had given me with the note. I placed it on my lap and ran my hands through its fur. I spent some a couple of minutes just staring at it and remembering the day we had spent.

Where the heck are you, Anderson!?

After a while of guessing I made my way downstairs to the kitchen, I opened the fridge and found a slice of blueberry cheesecake and decided to destroy it. I took a seat beside the kitchen counter and took a spoonful of my cake when my mom walked in.

"Hey, sweetie!" She greeted and I smiled.

"When was the last time you talked to Aunt Lessie?" I asked curiously.

"This morning, why?" She answered in a worried tone.

"Oh, nothing serious. It's just that Jake hasn't been around since three days so." I answered and she gave her 'I don't understand' look.

"Why don't you go over to Aunt Lessie's house and find out because she seemed perfectly fine to me on the phone." She added and poured herself some coffee in her favorite mug.

I went back upstairs and changed into a cute black shirt with jeans and wedges. After getting ready, I drove to Jake's place or should I say mansion, and rang the bell. Aunt Lessie answered the door and gleamed. We greeted each other with hugs and she invited me inside.

"I was just making chocolate mousse. I won't let you go if you don't eat it!" She insisted and I nodded my head while laughing.

"Can I ask you something ?" I finally asked as Aunt Lessie placed a plate of mousse in front of me.

"Sure, darling!" She answered cheerfully.

"Where's Jake. I mean is he ok?" I asked concerned and the smile on her face instantly vanished. Her face grew pale, she cleared her throat and looked away.

"He's gone to Rosenwood." She relied not making eye contact.

"Rosenwood? That's the place where you guys came from right?"

"Yes." Her voice trembled and I noticed a tear roll down her cheek.

"Aunt Lessie. What's wrong?" I asked and gave her a hug.

She burst into tears and I didn't let go until she got control of herself. She stopped sobbing and I wiped the tears off her face.

"What's the matter?" I asked again.

"Mia, you should go, darling."

"Of course!" I comforted her and drove back home. I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened today. I thought about telling the group but decided against it because it's something personal then Jake wouldn't want a lot of people to know. I spent the next two days in worry. There's no sign of Jake Anderson whatsoever.

A week had now passed and this issue was seriously bugging me. I decided to go to Rosenwood and find that dimwit but I didn't know the place and wouldn't have the slightest idea where to find him. I hoped that he would show up soon, then I would punch him in the face real hard.

Where are you, Jakey?!
