 I was about to throw my phone against the wall but decided against it. That pervert is so going down!

Mia's POV 

The bell rang and I went to the cafeteria. I picked up a tray from the counter and got myself a slice of coffee cake. Rebecca and Rachel came after a while and filled their trays with food as well. We walked to our usual table where the boys had already settled down, I took a seat next to Mike instead of Jake. There was no way I was going to sit next to him and ruin my lunch.

"Do you mind?" Rebecca snapped as she always sits next to Mike. I rolled my eyes and dragged my body to the chair next to Jake, this made him chuckle.

"Why do you hate me so much?" He asked, amused.

"I would've told you if there was only one reason." I replied, emphasizing on the word 'one'. The group laughed at this and I took a bite of my cake.

"So when are you planning to admit that you love me?" He asked after a while.

"If I had to choose you or a hamster, I would go with the hamster." I stated sarcastically and the girls burst out laughing.

"You just don't get it do you? Our love is like the wind, you can't see it but I know you can feel it." He added and the girls awed in unison. I glared at them as they mouthed, 'what?'

"So, you guys are staying after school, right?" Mike asked us.

"Yeah we are." Rebecca answered but I had no idea what they were talking about.

"Staying after school for what?" I asked confused.

"We have our final basketball match of the tournament today." Nate explained.

"Really? Who are you guys playing against?" I asked enthusiastically.

"Easton High." Jake answered with his eyes glued to the screen of his phone.

I was about to say something but got interrupted by some really loud giggles. All of us looked to the table where the giggles came from and I saw that Tyler was surrounded by bimbos. He was flirting with them and they just giggled in return.

And here I was thinking he had finally fallen down a well!

Tyler caught me looking at them and he gave me his signature smirk to which I rolled my eyes at.

"Mia, we can leave if you want." Rachel suggested.

"No, I'm fine." I replied and gave her an assuring smile.

I looked at Jake to see his reaction and he had that intense killer look on his face. The bell rang and the girls and I went to Chemistry class while the boys made their way to Calculus. We took our seats and opened our book to the chapters we were currently doing. Miss Astrid entered the class after a while and started the lesson. She's exceptionally fat and looks like the teapot in 'Beauty and the Beast', no joke. She was halfway through her lecture when a kind of siren set off. We looked at each other's faces with confused expressions when we realized it was a drill. We ran to the exit as soon as we realized but Miss Astrid stopped us.

"Students, I want you to go out in single files please." She said politely.

"MOVE AWAY, I'M ABOUT TO DIE!" I yelled and pushed past her. The girls let out little laughs.

We got out of the class when I heard a really high pitched girly scream, make that screams, with a capital S. The students who were running towards the emergency exit halted in their tracks to see who it was. What I saw next made me laugh my head off. It was Jake, Nate and Mike running like crazy while screaming like girls. I turned around to see the girls laughing just like I was and in that moment we actually forgot that we were supposed to run out of the building.
