Can't face him!

Mia's POV

I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling above me. I should be getting ready for school but there is no way I have the courage to do that today!

How am I supposed to face him after the kiss?

The stupid blush invaded my cheeks as I ran a finger through my hair. I got up, still in my tank shirt and tights. I walked down the staircase and made my way to the kitchen. I got a tub of coffee ice cream from the freezer and sat in the garden. I looked around the garden while eating and saw cute little flowers that mom and dad had planted. Everything was so perfect between them, until until Meredith came along!

Meredith is the woman who my dad made out with and mom found out. They had a huge argument that led to the divorce, I haven't seen him since.

"Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for school?" Mom suddenly came and joined me.

"I'm not going today," I replied taking another spoonful of the coffee ice cream.

"And why is that?" She asked raising her eye brows in curiosity.

"I don't know, I just feel weird today. I don't know how to explain it but, something is really bugging me since yesterday."

"Ah I see, let me guess, you don't have the guts to face Jake after the kiss?" She figured out and stared laughing.

How does she do that?!

"But honey, you're going to have to face him some day." She added.

"Just not today, please?" I pleaded in my Oh so innocent voice.

"Alright fine," She agreed, planted a kiss on my forehead and went away.

I spent the next couple of hours just thinking about how I'll face Jake! I blushed the whole freaking time!

Nope I can't do this! I just can't!

I tried to divert my attention but it wouldn't work whatsoever! I started watching 'Pretty little liars' but all I could think of was the fudging mess I had got myself into.

I was still trying to think of a way to forget when my phone beeped.

"Hey, kitty! Why didn't you come to school today?"

I read the text, my fingers started shaking and I nearly dropped my phone. My legs started trembling and a pang of warmth invaded my body, the same way it had when I kissed Jake. I finally gathered enough courage to reply.

"Yeah I just had a really bad headache"

After a while my phone beeped again.

"Stop thinking about me, it'll stress you out if you don't"

"Yeah, right! Aren't you supposed to be in class right now?"

"I'm bunking, school is too boring without you around. So how was it?"

"How was what?"

"You know what I'm talking about."

At first I had no idea what he was talking about and then it hit me!

"It was amazing...ly gross!"

"Keep telling yourself that, babe"

"Go fudge yourself!"

"I'll do that on one condition even though it's not humanly impossible"

"And what is that?"
