Jake's POV

The others came back for us the next day and bailed us out. Needless to say, the trip was amazing and I had the time of my life! 

After the long ass flight we reached Rosewood and I spent the whole weekend, sleeping because I got jet lag! 

***At school***

The last semester began with tons of homework and projects but thank god I didn't have stressing subjects! Mike and I were in the hallway talking about 'The Woman In Black 2' when Nate joined us. 

"Shit" He said while looking at the screen of his phone.

"What?" I asked 

"It's my grandma!" He shrugged and answered the phone and said," What's up grandma?" 

"Nate! I need your help! A tree just mysteriously appeared in the living room and somebody stole the ceiling!" She yelled while Mike and I laughed, her voice was pretty damn loud!

"Grandma your in the backyard!" Nate told her and she started laughing.

"Put her off speakerphone!" I said, annoyed.

"She's not on speakerphone." Nate said.

"Whoa....." We thought she was on speakerphone, thats why we could hear her but turned out she was just loud......really loud! Nate sighed and hung up. 

"Why is she living with you?" Mike asked

"Mom and Dad had a business meeting in Turkey so they left grandma in charge. But I take care of Natalie myself because grandma's afraid of every freakin thing!" 

"You really shouldn't babysit your sister, you know after you strangled the baby parrot your mom got you." I stated

"I WAS FIVE!" He protested and Mike laughed. 

"Gotta go" Nate went away when the bell rang.

"I really don't feel like going to class." I said.

"Yeah me neither, let's bunk" He suggested and I nodded. We went to the parking lot and sat under a tree. Mike lit two cigarettes and handed me one.

"So when are you gonna work on the Mia thing?" Mike asked after a while.

"Well I'm still not sure about the pictures, I mean she did kiss Tyler behind my back." I stated

"You're a piece of shit, you know that?" He said

"Look, wouldn't you be pissed if you were to find out that Rebecca's cheating on you?!" I said.

"I would be pissed for sure but I wouldn't just sit there, believing that it's true! I would do something and try to figure out if it's true or not! And then if I get to know that I was wrong about Rebecca, I would do anything to get her back! What have you done so far? NOTHING!" He snapped and I didn't reply. 

"Look I'm just worried about you......You don't seem normal to me anymore!" He added

"What do you mean?" I asked 

"It's like you've lost your way or something!" He stated 

"That's because I have!" I confessed. 

"Well, Nate and I are here. Plus, it's time I get you a new girl." He said and I shook my head, amused. 

"I don't want one." I said.
