Mia's POV 

I sat in the corner of the classroom and doodled on a page. From what I saw, I think I was trying to make a swan but was failing at it at the moment. The so called 'creature' I had made looked more like a deformed duck!

I had just finished my Fashion Designing mid term exam and was pretty satisfied with it. I had created a red silk dress and made Rebecca model for me which she did. Mr. Fitz and our other two drama teachers had made us stay a little longer after we finished our respective exams for an important meeting. 

"Good morning kids" Mr. Fitz greeted and we replied with smiles. Mark had taken the seat beside me and Jake sat in the seat in front of mine. 

"Ok so as you all know, you have your dramatics exam day after tomorrow and we wanted all of you to know the pattern of the whole exam." Miss Chloe announced and I looked at Mark who returned the look........yeah we were confused. 

"So day after tomorrow we'll be having the annual 'Full Moon Jam'. Every year the students of the last year of high school sing, dance and act. Important producers and directors of the film industry attend this event and pick out the kids they like for their future films. All the other students come as the audience so it's a pretty huge event. You gotta want this because this could change your life completely. Oh and we'll be there as judges, obviously because we have to grade you" Mr. Fitz explained while our singing teacher stayed quiet. He's a chubby guy but has the most beautiful voice ever. 

"Now for dancing it's simple, you just have to give your best performance. The producers and directors prefer a blast though so I think instead of going for slow dances, go for street dancing or salsa. You have a choice of performing with another student as well." Miss Chloe finished and all of us nodded.

"We'll do it together." Mark whispered to me and I delightfully nodded. 

"For acting you'll have to come up with a mini play and make sure that it's interesting so the people from the film industry like it." Mr. Fitz added to the instructions. 

"The singing exam pattern will be a little complicated so listen carefully. You guys are required to sing two songs as an individual and one song as a duet. One of the songs you sing as an individual will be of the artist we choose for you. So basically you gotta have a total of three mind blowing performances. Oh and do  NOT add any dance moves to your performance because it'll result in you loosing marks. Any questions?" Our singing teacher explained and I raised my hand to ask a question. 

"Which artists have you chosen this time?" I asked

"Selena Gomez for the girls and Backstreet Boys for the guys." He answered. Half of the class was ok with it but the other half protested like the school had cancelled our weekend holidays for the rest of the semester. After getting the rebels to stop we were allowed to go. Me, Jake and Mark decided to have lunch at school so made our way to the cafeteria. We sat at our usual table before talking about the mini play we had to come up with and that is when Addie joined us. 

"Hey guys." She greeted in her annoyingly soft voice. I ignored her and dug a spoon in my chocolate pudding. 

"So I was thinking we could have like an old story for the play." Mark proposed

"What did you some up with?" Jake asked 

"...........Nothing." He added and my lips curled into a smile at his stupidity. 

"Oh I have an idea. So the story will revolve around an average looking girl and her mother is making her marry a rich dude who she doesn't like because she's in love with another poor guy but she also has the desire to live lavishly and she has to choose between the two but then in the end she goes for love and not money." I finished in one breath.
