Jessica exhaled when she reached her limit. She wiped the sweat dripping from her face with a towel, grabbing her phone to see a missed call from Serena. She called the girl back and she picked up right away.
"Hey J!" Serena exclaimed, way too excited about something.
"Hey S. What's up?"
"Nothing much. What cha doing today?"
"Just finished a very satisfying boxing sess."
"You mad at something?" Serena chuckled.
"Something? More like someone."
"Wanna talk about it over lunch?"
"You gonna drive all the way over here just to have lunch with me?" Jessica asked the girl. She knew Serena was crazy but not that crazy.
"Uh well no. I just came home last night."
"You mean you're in New York?"
"I am."
"Since when?"
"Last night J." Serena chuckled. "So lunch?"
"Sure. Stumptown at 12?"
"See you then J."
