TWENTY-SEVEN

It was the after party and Jessica invited all her friends. 

"Jessica. Congratulations on opening your first ever fashion show." The interviewer said to the girl.

Jessica smiled. "Thank you so much. I'm just glad nothing terrible happened."

The interviewer laughed. "You did amazing."

"Thank you."

"Were you nervous at all?" 

"Of course. I'm the type of person that would think of every possible outcome that could happen. And in that moment I kept repeating to not trip. That was one of my worst fears ever." 

"But it didn't happen."

Jessica laughed. "It didn't. Thank goodness." 

"You did amazing Jessica. But congratulations."

"Thank you. Enjoy the rest of your night." Jessica said, giving the interviewer a hug before making her way into the party. She told her friends to go in first. She easily spotted them at the bar.

Jessica made her way there, smiling at a few people she knew. 

"J!" Blair and Serena yelled, pulling the girl into a tight hug. "You were amazing."

Jessica smiled. "Thanks B and S."

"We're all glad you didn't trip." Chuck commented. 

Jessica chuckled. "Thanks Chucky." 

The 5 of them talked for a bit before Blair and Chuck disappeared and Serena was too busy talking to this guy she just met. 

"You were amazing." Nate whispered in her ear since it was pretty loud in the building. 

Jessica laughed. "You already told me that Nathaniel." 

Nate smiled, putting his hand on her waist, pulling her closer to him. "Ok you are very beautiful tonight."

"You already told me that too Nathaniel."

"You looked beautiful on stage, you look beautiful now. I can't compliment my girl?"

"I'm your girl now?" Jessica asked. 

"You always were. No matter what state, country you're in. You will always be my girl." 

"I like this." Jessica smiled.

"What?"

"The idea of you and me. Us together."

Nate smiled. "Sucks it took me this long."

Jessica laughed. "I guess you can say it was worth the wait."

"Most definitely." Nate was genuinely happy right now. He completely forgot about the Spectator and how much in trouble it was. But right now he wanted to forget about it. He wanted to enjoy this moment with the one girl he loves. Someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. 

What's that I see? Golden Boy has a new girl? Whatever happened to Rosemary? I guess when your best friend drops someone related to them, you have to too. Nate was never one to keep a girl around for a long time. And the infamous Jessica Olsen shouldn't be any exception. I'll save you the heartbreak now Jess and tell you that your precious boyfriend will soon be bored of you and move on to his next prey. It's just what Nathaniel Archibald does.

I got really lazy and didn't finish all 10 episodes on Gossip Girl so now I have to pay $15 for my HBO Max subscription 😩
