"Jess." Serena said to the girl, pulling her into a big hug.
"Hey S." Jessica laughed at how tight she was hugging her. "Serena, we literally saw each other 5 hours ago."
Serena released the girl. "I know. You look beautiful."
Jessica did a dramatic twirl. "Why thank you. But no one can top the dress you're wearing. What is it? Versace?"
"No. Prada."
"Figures. You were always more of a Prada girl."
She chuckled. "And what about you? Your dress is to die for." She spins her friend around.
The girl smiled. "Well you know, when you model for different brands they tend to gift you their products. One of the many perks of being talented." Serena chuckles at her friend. "So where's Steven?"
Serena sighed. "He wasn't supposed to be here, but he cancelled his meeting last minute to be here."
"And why aren't you swooning?"
"He cheated on me, remember? And what's worse Nate's girlfriend or ex-girlfriend is here. I don't know. It's complicated."
"Nate has a girlfriend?" Jessica semi yelled which caught some attention of some people which Jessica smiled at. She tends to do that a lot.
"Was that the only thing you heard?"
"Hell yeah. He and even you made it seem like he was single."
"I mean technically he is."
Jessica rolled her eyes. "Typical Nathanial Archibald behavior."
"Jess."
"Can you please just let me and Nate deal with this ourselves?"
"No can do."
"And why not?"
"Because oh look there he is." Serena said, waving the boy over causing Jessica to groan. She did not have an alcohol in her yet and she was not in the mood to handle Nate sober. "Nate." She pushed her friend towards the boy, winking before walking off.
Jessica let out a sigh. She knew she should have went straight to the bar before finding her friend.
