Chapter 28

"That's the most stupid idea I have ever heard in my life."

FP said when the girls told the others their plan.

"Do you have a better idea?"

Cheryl asked getting defensive.

FP stood in the mittle of Alice's and Hermione's living room rubbing his head.

"Well... no."

Cheryl and Jason both gave him their 'That's what I thought' look.

Jason was there for Betty and Cheryl the last few days and also the only one who was able to really talk to them.

"Soooo? What are we gonna do?"

Archie asked impatiently.

The vampire has been really nervous lately, C and B think that he is in love with V little did they know that it was true.

"I think we should take Betts' and Cheryl's plan as an idea and make it better, no offense."

Jughead said directing the last part to Betty who sat on his lap.

She just smiled and looked at the other's again:

"But what should we change? It's not like we have many options."

"She has a point."

Sweet Pea joined the conversation.

"As if we could just walk up there and start a fight we'll never be able to win."

Fangs stated.

„I still don't get what we or you are fighting against?"

Kevin questioned.

„Basically my uncle, Betts' dad, decided to make experiments on witches so he can do god knows what and now thanks to our plan in New York Veronica is one of his prisoners."

Cheryl always tried to play it cool talking about something that deeply hurt her if it was the day she had her 6th birthday and dropped her cake or when her boyfriend broke up with her which now certainly isn't that big of a deal as she's dating Toni.

„Well to be honest no one thought Hal would know what we were doing."

Jake joined Cheryl.

„But we could have been more careful."

C started but a glance at Toni made her shut up.

Everyone was feeling bad about what had happened and she shouldn't make anybody else feel guilty about it.

All of them should have been more careful.

The conversation went on for hours but they weren't able to make sure the plan would work a 100%.

And they still decided to do it.

They had to werewolf packs and a witch coven so what could go wrong?

A lot but neither wanted to admitt how dangerous it was.

Their priority was and always will be Veronica and if it meant taking a risk it wouldn' change anything.

That night was the first time Betty didn't sleep in Veronica's bed.

Jughead finally convinced her to stay with him at his pack's house.

The blonde wasn't convinced at first but her mom basically forced her to go so she would stop worrying for a little while.

And a few minutes later Betty stood in front of her house with a packed bag in her hands waiting for Jug to pick her up with his motorcycle.

After the short drive the tribrid saw the pack house for the first time in her life.

It was a huge mansion in the deep of Riverdale's forest.

The hosue looked like a cabin a massive cabin.

Betty had never seen such thing in her life.

The walls were clothed with wood and when they finally arrived at her mate's room she couldn't stop starring.

"You like it?"

Jughead asked the girl.

"I love it."

Betty said as she jumped onto the bed.

Not even a second later Jug laid next to her and with that the blonde turned around and laid her head on his chest.

"Can I ask you something?"

The werewolf exclaimed while running his hands through Betty's gorgeous blond hair.

"Sure."

"Are you okay?"

Betty didn't know what to say obviously she wasn't okay.

"And please don't lie to me. The last few days you avoided me and I just want to make sure that you are okay."

Betty was touched.

She knew Jughead cared for her but still every little thing he did for her made her love him more.

"I just want V back. I feel so guilty."

It was the first time she said it out loud and Betts was about to cry again.

"You know none of this is your fault, right?"

Jughead was really worried about his girlfriend.

"I don't know. If I had just done something so this wouldn't have happened."

Betty started to cry which Jug noticed.

He took her in his arms and let her cry while whispering sweet things in her ear.

After some time both of them fell asleep holding each other.

The next morning they spent together.

Betty felt like a shitty girlfriend all the time everything was just about her and she never really realized how Jug must have been feeling.

„What do you wanna do?"

Betty asked her boyfriend.

„Hmm?"

The young werewolf asked as he looked up from the papers he was looking at while standing behind the desk in FP's office.

The blonde was halfway sitting on the desk as she asked Jughead again:

„What do YOU want to do today?"

„What do you mean?"

„Well ever since we got together everything was about me and I never realized how you felt so lately I've been feeling like I failed as a girlfriend. So again what do you want to do?"

Jughead was astound of course he wasn't happy about Betty's behavior during their time in NY but otherwise his first priority has always been making sure his girlfriend was happy.

„You haven't failed as my girlfriend."

He said as he put the papers down and got in front of the desk to stand in between Betty's legs:

„I love you and to be honest your life isn't easy so we'll make sure everything goes according to plan and we can prioritize our relationship."

„I love you."

Betty said as she put her arms around Jug's neck and they both leaned in for a kiss.
