Chapter 20

About an hour later all of them made their way to the restaurant Mike chose.

Betty made sure for Jughead to know that she'd talk to Mike at dinner.

Little did she know what was gonna happen.

"Hey, we have a reservation on the name Jones."

FP told the Lady at the entrance of the restaurant while everybody was waiting behind him.

"Ah, okay. The other two gentleman and the lady are already present. If you'd please follow me."

She waved her hand a little and then showed the huge 'family' where to go.

The waitress showed them their table, it was huge so they all could sit.

They were alone in a room with red walls and black decorations.

Everybody sat down and after some small talk Jake wanted to know the matter they had to talk about.

"So, why exactly do you need our help?"

"Well. You know how we've always been on the run?"

Veronica asked the brothers.

Mike nodded and looked between Betty and Veronica.

"Turns out we're running from my dad. He made mom go with him and have us."

Betty motioned with her hand between her and her brothers.

Jughead saw that the blonde was a little uncomfortable so he put his hand on her thigh.

B looked at him and smiled.

It made her feel safe knowing that Jug wasn't mad anymore and that they were okay again.

"He wanted to have a tribrid and that's exactly what I am."

Betty explained her best friends.

"Wait a second! You're a tribrid?"

Mike asked the blonde girl who just nodded feeling a little uncomfortable.

"Wow."

"Anyways, aunt Alice told that he wanted to use the tribrid to you know reign over 'magical creatures' so she ran."

Veronica continued the story as she was sure Betty didn't really want to tell this part of the story.

"He also imprisoned many witches. And our plan is to track Hal on the Alpha ball and then defeat him after we know where he and the witches are."

Alice helped.

"Wow that seems like a lot."

Jake stated worriedly while looking at Ellie.

"We will definitely help you guys. I don't know you guys for a long time yet but both Mike and Jake told me a lot about you and we would love to align with your pack."

Ellie said, the last part obviously to FP.

"We would love that."

FP smiled while Jug was clenching his jaw and nodded.

After a few awkward minutes everybody was talking normally again.

Mike had called Betty nicknames a few times already when she finally flipped:

"Mike, I am sorry, I can't do this anymore. I gave you so many signs that I don't like you calling me all these names.

I am with Jug now and it really annoys me how you act as we'd still be together."

Betty stood up and wanted to walk away from the others.

Jughead just watched her when he realized:

"Hold up. You guys dated!?!"

He also stood up same as Betty's brothers.

"Why didn't we know about this?"

Ashton now asked.

"It was a long time ago and we are good now."

Mike said.

"We are good now!?!

You literally started calling me nicknames when we dated and never stopped.

You even tried to kiss me a few times.

Even though I asked you to stop!

Why can't you understand what 'no' means!"

Betty shouted while her brothers were on their way to murder Mike.

"Wait! When did this even happen?"

Veronica now asked.

"It wasn't like that. It was before you even left again."

Mike tried to save himself.

"And you still keep making moves on Betty? I thought we dated?"

Veronica now raised her voice.

"Wait what? You are dating?"

Betty and Archie asked at the same time.

"Let's just all calm down and talk about this in peace."

Cheryl tried to calm everyone down but it didn't work while FP, Tall Boy, Hodgeye, Hermione and Alice didn't say a word.

"I am not gonna calm down! He made moves on my girlfriend while dating her cousin!"

Jughead said almost shouted and pointed at Mike.

"Why is there even a problem. I didn't cheat neither did Betty."

Mike stated and made everybody stare at him.

"Yeah you know why you didn't cheat? Because Betty made sure not to! My own cousin? How can you do this to me?!"

Veronica was outraged.

"I didn't do anything!"

Mike was getting mad.

"Oh, you did. I expected way more from you. It's extremely inappropriate and worst of all you have a mate. If you like it or not Veronica has a choice while you have a mate waiting for you!"

Jake was also mad at Mike which really meant something as they don't fight often.

"I am going to leave now!"

Mike stood up and was about to leave when he turned around one more time.

"I am leaving New York. I hope you have a great trip."

Then he left the room.

"I am so sorry."

Jake said while everybody sat down again even though it was really awkward.

After about an hour of a very strange and weird dinner everybody left the restaurant and went back to their rooms.

Betty was worried about what was gonna happen as soon as her and Jug were gonna be alone.

She didn't think he was gonna hit her, he'd never but they just made up and she didn't want that to be ruined again.

"I am so so sorry."

She started but was interrupted.

"It's okay. I should have guessed it. You were so close."

Jughead answered the blonde.

"Are you mad at me?"

Betty asked him.

"No, you stopped everything and that is what matters the most to me."

The future alpha laid his arms around the young girl and kissed her.

They started making out walking to their bed when Jughead parted his lips from hers again.

Breathless he asked her:

"Can I mark you?"
