Chapter 21

Betty was taken by surprise.

"You have a choice, I am not gonna do anything you don't want."

Jughead made sure that the girl knew.

"Yes, mark me."

The future luna said as she kissed him again.

"Are you sure? You can't make it undone."

The dark haired boy wanted to make sure Betty knew what she was doing.

"Jug, I love you so much. I want you to know that I am a 100% serious about us. I am gonna be with you till the end."

They locked their eyes and kissed each other roughly again.

"It will hurt a bit."

Jug told Betty while kissing down her neck.

"I can handle it."

The girl answered him.

"I know you can."

The future alpha whispered when he let his fangs grow and buried them between her shoulder and the crook of her neck.

Betty whimpered because of the pain she just went through but when Jug looked up again she smiled.

The wound was healing really fast and showed the mark of a snake.

The 'logo' of the serpent pack but there was a little crown on top of it.

The sign that they belonged together.

Betty looked at it in awe when Jughead showed her his shoulder where they could see the same sign.

Without another word they locked their lips again.

The next morning Betty woke up with Jughead's arms around her.

She had to smile as soon as she remembered the moments of last night.

The girl turned around and played with her mate's black curls.

A few minutes later he also woke up.

"Morning, love."

He said with his rough morning voice.

"Morning."

Betty smiled at him.

"I really marked you, didn't I?"

Jughead made sure as he returned Betty's smile.

"Yes."

She answered him.

He sat up a bit:

"You don't regret it, do you?"

"Not a second."

She told him and then put a kiss on his lips.

"I am gonna go change now. I really want to get some breakfast before the girls and I get ready together for the ball."

Betty kept talking as she stood up and walked over to the closet.

"Ughhh, do you have to go?"

Jughead asked her.

"Yes, I mean I'd love to lay in bed with you the whole day but you know that it's a very important day today."

The boy just sighed and also got up.

Betty chose a white one shoulder long sleeve and a black leather skirt with black boots.

While Jughead took a black jeans and a white shirt.
