Chapter 5

They all sat down and started eating when Betty saw V looking for something and as good as they both knew each other Betty realized that she needed salt.

So the blonde girl made a quick move with her hand and V had the salt in her hands.

„Thanks B." she said without even thinking and then they both realized that the wolfs stared at them.

„What?" Ronnie asked.

,,It's just a little bit weird for us when you use magic. It's completely new for us."

Toni said and that's when I remembered:

"Fuck, V, Cheryl will be here any second!"

"Elisabeth! Language!"

Her mom said to her but she just ignored her as she smelled C coming into their garden which they had used a spell on so nobody could see if there were any supernatural abilities used.

Her and Veronica ran outside and all the others came after them.

"C!" V and B squealed and Cheryl hugged them but then she saw Toni.

"TT, what are you doing here?"

"I don't know how to tell this story but it came out that Betty is a Tribrid and that our Alpha FP is her mom's mate."

'TT' tried to explain.

"B? Auntie Alice?" The cousins could see Cheryl was confused.

"It's a long story honey. But could you help Elisabeth with her vampire?" Her mom said.

"Yes, definitely! This is gonna be so much fun!" C exclaimed, took her cousins hand and ran into the garden.

Betty didn't really notice but everyone else got into the garden too.

"Okay, B. You have to relax now and close your eyes."

The girl followed Cheryl's instructions.

"Now tell me what you hear."

"I hear the leaves falling, the wind, the sweet water river around three miles away, a car driving down the elm street and a few kids playing at the sweet water park." She said.

"I don't hear these kids but that means your hearing is really good even for a vampire." C explained.

"Okayy" Betty said not really convinced.

"Okay, let's start with our normal training."

Cheryl said with a laugh and Betty already ran to her.

She kicked her foot really high and almost hit C but stopped at the last moment.

"Always a tease, Elisabeth." Cheryl tried to hit her but missed.

Betty whispered a spell and Cher fell on the ground.

The girls heard someone growl Betty thought it was Toni as she was C's mate so she took a look and saw that the others were watching them in awe like they've never seen a fight before.

Cheryl got up again and used Vampire speed to come and suprise B from the back but the blonde was faster and she laid on the ground again.

Magic got through the girl's fingertips and Cheryl couldn't move anymore.

"15 seconds a new record." Auntie Hermione exclaimed while Betty freed my cousin from the spell and they hugged each other.

"Cheryl! Are you alright?" Toni ran up to them but they just laughed.

"I am fine, TT. I'm not fragile. I mean my whole family are vampires."

Betty still laughed then Ronni hugged her:

"How did you do that spell? I tried it so often but it didn't work."

"I don't know, it was the moment."

They laughed and got back inside.

"Betty? Can I talk to you for a second?"

Jughead asked her and she got nervous:

"Yeah, of course."

They went upstairs into Betty's room.

"Your room is beautiful."

He said even tho there was just furniture.

"Thank you, what did you want to talk about" She reminded him.

"About us. About me having the urge to protect you from everything."

He said while sitting down on her bed.

"You know I am way more powerful than you?" The girl asked him chuckling.

"Yeah, I know, that's what makes it so hard.

Though I don't even know you a whole day I saw that you don't want anyone to save you but I can't help it."

He got his hands through his black curly hair.

She thought it was cute how he was worried about her.

Betty sat down on his lap and straddled him, she didn't know why she did that but her wolf kinda forced her to do it, she waited for her mate 17 almost 18 years:

"That's cute. But you're right I like to do things on my own.

I ran my whole life and I hate feeling helpless."

Then he kissed her and she kissed back.

It was really passionate and they felt the sparks everywhere.

She knew that Jug had to restrain himself not to mark her which she was really thankful for and then the door opened.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry. Auntie Alice said I should tell you that the others are going home."

Veronica said as she came into Betty's room.

She blushed and Jug just winked at her:

"Then I'll see you two tomorrow at school. And I insist on you sitting with us at lunch."

"Bye!" V and B said as he walked out of the door.

"What was that?" V asked her.

"I don't know. It was like my wolf took over without me shifting."

"I think you two are really cute!" V squealed.

"When do you think will you shift the first time?"

"I don't have any idea. I am just gonna talk to Jug or Toni." Betty told her and Veronica squealed again while the blonde just rolled her eyes.
