Waiting Forever

Chapter 17

Mia's (POV)

I woke up in Logan's room, with his strong arms wrapped around me and for a moment I felt safe, like nothing could touch us.

I looked up to see his face as he slept but the moment I did I saw his eyes sweeping my face.

'Are you okay?' He asked huskily, the sleepiness still lacing his tone.

'I'm fine,' I whispered shifting a little bit to see that I was still sore. 'Just a little sore is all.'

'Why? Why did you go and do that with out me?' He asked sounding hurt.

'I didn't like seeing everyone in pain,' I whispered looking ashamed.

'I didn't want you going alone, you could have died out there. If it wasn't for Sierra you would have.' He said sitting up in the bed.

'Sierra? You mean my sister helped me?' I asked in shock.

'Wait you know about her?' He asked looking at me in shock.

I was hoping that Gabriella had been a dream but apparently she wasn't and I had some explaining to do.

I told Logan everything that had happened, the events at the rogue's house and the conversation that I had with Gabriella. He just sat there in shock as the events just poured out of my mouth, I didn't like keeping secrets and didn't want to start now.

'Wow, that's amazing, do you know what gift she gave you?' He asked still shocked about it all.

'No, she just told me she was and then I felt so much pain and that's when darkness took over me.' I didn't know what she meant when she said I was the one that would save them all, or what that older woman meant when she said I was to be protected above all else.

'I have some news for you as well, um, Sam and Sierra are mates.' He said looking sheepish.

'Are you serious?'

'Yeah, we had a little chat and then all of a sudden Sam and my fighters appeared and she knocked him on his ass and said mine, completely shocked the hell out of both of us.' He chuckled slightly before saying 'he definitely has his hands full when it comes to her.'

'I want to meet her.' I said getting up. I ignored the pain that slithered through my body as I made my way to the shower. Logan helped me shower and dress, afraid I would do more damage to myself.

I went down stairs shaking my head at him, he was such a worry wart but its one of the things that made me love him. As I stepped into the kitchen I gasped as Sam and Sierra were in a very heated kiss, she was sitting on the counter with her legs wrapped around his waist and her hands bunched in his hair.

I cleared my throat and watched in amusement as she pushed Sam away and he fell on his ass, letting out an oomph. I laughed and shook my head at him, looking back to Sierra I noticed that we looked a lot alike.

She took me in as well a guarded expression in her face as she jumped down from the counter. I walked up to her and hugged her, pulling back I noticed she had a shocked on her face but pulled me back to give me a hug again.

'I hear your name is Mia now,' she said as she pulled back to look at my face.

'Yeah, I'm kinda surprised you kept the same name though.' I said to her and noticed her eyes look at me in question and surprise.

I grabbed a cup of coffee and sat at the kitchen table telling her and Sam what Gabriella had told and shown me. Sierra sat there with a stoney expression on her face, I couldn't tell what she was thinking as I finished my story.
