Mia's (POV)

I couldn't believe that it was Spencer, my Spencer, the guy that made me trust men again and the guy that was my best friends boyfriend, her mate.

'I can't fucking believe this shit!!' Logan exclaimed as we continued to watch Spencer move through the forest.

In one of the screens we saw some men step forward and move towards Spencer who had stopped moving the moment he reached the border.

'We need to move, now! Sam go tell the others to get out, tell them the rules and where the trap doors are, Sierra I need you to go alert the other packs and tell them they are coming in from the north side if they don't know already.' We all jumped up and ran from the room down the stairs. Sam ran out the front door, heading to the surrounding pack members homes.

Sierra ran for the two packs that were waiting.

'I need you on the northern side they are coming now. I want a few of you to stay behind in case they try and attack from a different side.' Logan barked orders left and right, while we ran through the trees. He stopped short causing me to run into his back.

He spun in his heel and grabbed my face in both hands, kissing me hard.

'I love you, so much, you are everything to me and when this is over, I'm going to spend the rest of my life proving it to you.' He whispered resting his forehead against mine.

'I love you too baby and I can't wait to spend the rest of my days loving you.' I whispered back.

'Get into the trees and stay there. Your powers can be used without you being on the ground fighting. If I go down I want you to stay there, no coming after me. I need to know that you are safe, they want you more than they want this fight, if they have the chance to grab you they will and I can't fight being worried about you.' He said staring at me.

'I can't make you any promises,' I whispered before he could make a comment our fighters exploded out of the trees behind us.

I followed suit as some of the fighters climbed into the trees, Logan stayed on the ground wanting to meet them head on.

The clearing was beautiful, boulders lined one side with flowers poking I'm various places. Green grass spread over the area with little bumps here and there. It was eerily silent, no bugs, no wind, no owls, nothing.

I picked the second row of trees back from the clearing well hidden from the enemy inching its way toward us. The fighters had made their way to the trees on the opposite side of the clearing to drop right on top of the enemy.

'This better end quickly, Sam and I have some serious make up sex to do,' Sierra whispered climbing into a tree next to me. I laughed softly, as I watched Logan and the remaining fighters move to the tree line.

'I love you, be careful,' I whispered through the link. I watched as he turned his head and winked at me, his blue eyes shunning bright.

Logan's (POV)

'I love you too beautiful, remember what I said.'I whispered to her before turning back to scan the trees.

I didn't know if she would listen, I couldn't idly sit by and watch as she was hurt and I honestly didn't expect her to listen but my wolf and I needed her safe.

I watched her dad move out of the trees and stand beside me just as men moved from the tree line.

That disgusting man that called himself her father, a man I had never seen before, probably the man from the house that Mia had burned down and Spencer were leading them. They were a small group of people no more than 20 maybe, I watched as they moved to the middle of the clearing.

'This is all you have for me?' The rogue said, moving his hand out towards the 15 members that were standing behind Me and Michael, Sam still hadn't showed up yet.

'You don't have the skill to take on what I have.' I growled standing his ground. We all wore long sleeves shirts to cover our markings, it would be easier to hide in our human forms in case something went wrong.

'So this is how it will be? We fight till you all die and then I take your lands?' The rogue responded.

'You will take nothing,' I whispered in a menacing tone.

'We will see about that.' The rogue growled before two of his men shifted shape and howled. Wolves poured out of the trees and I smirked. There couldn't be more than 80 in total most were small and looked shifty, like they didn't want to be here and would run at any moment. 'Remember what I said,' he yelled and the wolves instantly stopped shifting and took up fighting stances.

I heard an owl call and knew the two packs were in position. This rogue clearly had something over these wolves but it didn't matter if they attacked we would be forced to defend.

I looked at Spencer, I was surprised it was him. Zoey had been sketchy but Spencer he had always been loyal, I didn't understand why he was doing this but I wouldn't hesitate in killing him. He had put Mia in danger feeding information to this disgrace of a wolf and betraying me.

'Stephan, enough talking lets get this over with,'Spencer replied. I watched as the guy Mia was raised by shifted shape, I could have swore he was human but his wolf was as pathetic as his human. My old wolf was twice his size but now I could kill him without much effort.

Stephan followed suit, he must have Alpha blood somewhere in his line, he was pure black and twice the size of the mangy brown wolf that was at his side. Spencer stepped back and shifted shape, I had never seen his wolf. In all the years we had been together he had always found some way to hide it, fighting wolves in his human form and refusing to run with the rest of us, now I know why.

He was a grey
