Logan's (POV)
It was nearly dawn when we finished training. Everyone was exhausted, from keeping up the charade in front of the pack and training at night. It was our pack fighters, Sierra and Sam, plus the two other packs that agreed with Mia. We had decided no one else needed to know of our plans, surprise was our best defense.
It wasn't about just getting their hands on Mia, it was also about getting packs lands and killing off those that would oppose them. Rogues numbers had decreased over the last couple of years so where they plan on getting their numbers I have no idea. When Mia attacked the rogue house she said their was only about 20 members crawling around.
That doesn't give them an edge over us, my pack was one if the biggest in the country and we had two extra packs helping. If they decided to take us by surprise maybe they had a chance but not with all the extra help.
This ended with us, after Mia told me about the plan the rogue had of taking down every pack some wanted to help while others refused to acknowledge the threat. There were two Alphas that agreed we needed to do something now, they didn't want this fight on their lands, so they came here.
Mia was currently entertaining Alpha Nick and Alpha Zack, they were completely taken with her even though they had mates. They said that they would fight for her and with her, it shocked the hell out of me but then again that little minx had me wrapped around her little finger so I wasn't one to judge.
Walking up to them I met her gaze and watched as they lit up in delight. I smiled as I kissed her cheek, this woman would never cease to amaze me.
My mom had made breakfast for everyone seeing as it was still early in the morning and none of the pack members would be up and about. As we made our way to the backyard Mia stopped mid stride, I stopped and glanced back at her.
I watched as she splayed her arms out wide and levitated off the ground, her hair fanned out and her eyes went white. I was beginning to become scared, I didn't know what was happening.
I looked to the others as they stared in shock, Sierra was the only one who didn't look shocked in fact she looked excited, almost like a kid in a candy store.
I turned my gaze back to Mia as she started talking, only it didn't really sound like her.
'They are coming, they will be here when the moon is at its highest. Beware of those who you call friends, their choices are what lead this to be and your choices will chose your fate.'
'They are coming in waves, strength doesn't come in numbers the winning of this war will come from the heart,' she turned her white gaze on me 'your choice is what will help or hinder the lives of your kind, choose wisely.'
As the last words escaped her lips she was slowly lowered to the ground and her eyes were back to their normal color.
'What the fuck just happened?' She asked looking around at the others before settling on me. I didn't know what to say, my mouth kept flopping open like a fish without water.
'It was a warning, apparently you were gifted with foresight. The little churning of your gut? Knowing something was wrong? Well it just evolved into a full blown power, bravo little sister.' Sierra clapped proudly.
Mia raises her eyebrow as Sierra filled her in on what she had said. After Sierra had finished Mia just stood there, unmoving. I moved to stand in front of her and grip her chin in the palm of my hand, tilting her head to look at me I noticed her eyes flickering from grey to brown.
'They will be here in a week, that's when the moon will be at its highest. We need to create a battle plan, I know what I said but surprise is our best bet.' She whispered looking at me before glancing to the other that had crowed behind me.
