CHAPTER 92

It's competition day! Whoo Hooo! I get wayyy too over excited for comps. Oh well! Right now, we're all on the bus going down to Bristol. Why does Miss a Abbey always pick the competition that are so far away? Anyway, I'm sat to Becca and we are just listening to some music and talking.

"Are you excited?" I asked her.

"Buzzing!"

"What's the trio to?"

"Here Come The Girls. Cheesy I know. What your solo to?"

"The Glow. I love it so much. Whatcha singing?"

"Ghost from Ella Henderson. You?"

"Something I Need from Ben Haenow. I think Charlie and Leo are in Bristol today but they're performing. Also I think Charlie's gonna try to meet up with some of his old mates as well,"

"That's a bummer. Come on, we're here," and we stepped off of the bus and headed towards the school that the dance competition were hiring out. We got shown to our dressing room and it was all a go! Makeup mirrors and costumes everywhere! My idea of heaven.

My phone bleeped and I looked to see that I had a text off of the boys.

Good luck today Em, I believe in you and so does Leo! Love ya💘

To: My boyy💍👫💖

Thanks boys, love you too💕

I then started to do my own hair and makeup.

"Imogen?" I shouted.

"Yeah?"

"Do you have the hairspray?"

"Yeah, here you go,"

"Thank you. Omg your hair looks amazing!" I gasped.

"Aw thanks, Jemima did it for me, it's for the trio,"

"Cute, what's up first?"

"The order is: Nick's solo, your solo, our trio then Kyle's,"

"Cool," I said then got back to doing my hair which was a slick back bun with a lilac ribbon around. I always seem to have to have my hair in a bun! My makeup was beautiful, if I did it right that is.

"I regret to tell you that the singing section of the competition has been erased did to the lack of entry, I'm sorry guys," Miss Abbey apologised.

"It's okay," I smiled and hugged her.

"Guys come on! Hands in," Kyle called. And we all did so.

"On 3 team. 1..2..3..," Miss Abbey counted.

"TEAM!" We all yelled.

"Right come on, let's get down there," Jemima laughed and we all headed to the stage ready to win... Oops I mean compete!

Backstage, we all did a group hug and said our good luck prayer that's tradition. Our studio never looses. So we don't want to be the ones that do.

"Next is number 486 Nick performing Pump It Up," the announcer announced. Nick walked out and was amazing, as per usual. He came off and I gave him the biggest hug I could ever. He is one of my closest mates after all. Then it was the girls' turn. They were flawless but then again, they always are! As they came off I gave them a massive group hug and it was time for me.

"Help me please welcome to the stage, act number 616 Emily performing The Glow," the announcer said and I walked out and got in place. The music started and I just did what I do best, dance. I remembered all of the facial expressions and everything. It felt good when I came off and everyone hugged me. Then it was Kyle's turn. He did phenomenal, both the boys will be hard to beat.

We had literally 6 numbers to get changed so we legged it back to the changing rooms to get ready. The costumes were red and black. Elegant. With hair in a bun and a black ribbon around it. Easy for me as I just had to take my lilac out.

Finally, we were called to the stage, only just getting there in time.

"Now let's please welcome act number 983 Emily, Kyle, Jemima, Becca, Imogen and Nick performing The Time We Spent Apart,"

The dance went amazingly! Better than I could ever think!
Awards now.

"For the elite teen solos, in third place is..." Nick, Kyle and I all held hands tightly. "Nick with Pump It Up," and we all cheered as Nick went to go receive his trophy.

"We would like to invite our top 2 up here so can Kyle and Emily please come up!" I made it into the top 2! Yes!

"And your Elite Teen Champion is......... Emily with The Glow!" I screamed and Kyle hugged me tightly.

"Congrats!" Kyle smiled.

"To you too, you were hard to beat,"

I received my trophy and happily sat down.

The other trios were announced as so far no talk of Here Come The Girls. So that means they've either not places or won.

"The winners are............. Jemima, Becca and Imogen!" And they jumped up and down with delight! So far, a clean sweep! We're all so happy!

"Our third place group is...... Siobhan, Cath, Archie, Denise and Tania with I Used To Like You,"

"Second place is....... Beth, Jenny, Jess, Steve, Eloise and Sophie with But We Were Wrong,"

"And first place is........"

Sorry about these last few days, they've been crazy busy but it's only the start! The Hacktivists shows went amazingly well! So proud of the cast! However, I've got an incredibly busy week as its Alice In Wonder,and at the weekend, I've got a swimming gala, a small drama show and going to see The X Factor tour. So, my next update will be Wednesday but then the next one after that will be Monday. I'm really sorry about this guys but I can't help it. I hope you stick by my book and let me get through this next week then updates will resume to normal I promise! Please keep supporting!
On another note, IM ALMOST AT 40K! What? It just seems like yesterday I was at 30K! So what shall I do as my 40K special? You decide in the comments--->
