CHAPTER 32

Today was the day! We're flying to LA! For a full week! By we, I mean Charlie, Leo, Blair, Miss Abbey and I. The boys were coming
A) for support
B) their doing a couple of shows out there.
I had to be at the studio to go to the airport at 2:30am. Why. Mum and Dad dropped me off while Jordi watched Melissa. I got up at 1:45am and quietly hopped into the shower. Once out, I put on minimal makeup and put my hair in a scruffy bun. I wore a pair of jeggins, frilly socks, a fluffy jumper and my Charlie necklace. My bags were already packed into the car. I wasn't hungry so I had a cup of tea to waken me up a little. It was time to go so I gave Jordi a big hug and he said he would miss me.
"Be careful out there ok? Remember to FaceTime me if you ever need me," he told me.
"I will be, I'm so excited!" I replied giddily.
"Aww! I'm the proudest big brother ever! Your going to be in Jessie J's music video, that's huge!" Jordi expressed.
"I know. I've waited so long so an opportunity like this," he gave me another hug then I climbed into the car, heading to the studio.
When we got there, Miss Abbey and Blair were already waiting. I got out of the car and helped Dad get my luggage out of the boot. I walked over to greet them both.
"Excited?" Blair asked.
"Ecstatic!" I replied excitedly.
"I have another surprise for you... Ellen Degeneres (The Ellen Show) called and said that they would love for you to perform and interview you as an upcoming star!" Miss Abbey announced.
"Really! Omg that's huge!" I gasped.
"I know!" Miss Abbey replied.
"Emily I'm so proud of you, remember your daddy's little girl even though your 16," dad said hugging me.
"Hehehe thanks dad," I smiled.
"We need to go get back for Jordi and Mel, good luck darling," mum said.
"Tell Jordi to tell the boys that Dan's got the concert this weekend covered for them and Harvey please Angela," Blair asked.
"No problem," mum answered. Mum and dad gave me another hug then left.
"Trust Charlie and Leo to be last!" I joked.

5 minutes later they finally turned up. They both looked shattered.
"Charlie! Charlie!" I yelled running up to him.
"What? What?" He panicked.
"Ellen Degeneres has asked to interview me and let me perform on The Ellen Show!" I shouted.
"Omg that's fantastic! I'm so proud of you!" He replied spinning me around.
"Well done Emily, I always knew my best friend would make it!" Leo stated proudly.
"Aw thanks Leondre," I smiled giving him a hug. I love the fact that my boyfriend and one of my best mates are coming with me!

**12hours later**
After a long time travelling, we are exhausted to say the least. Jet lag is awful. We finally booked into our hotel. Leo, Charlie and I were in one room and Blair and Miss Abbey in their own separate ones.
"Come on guys, I suggest an early night. We have had a lot of travelling today and a big day tomorrow so get some rest," Miss Abbey suggested.
"Night Miss Abbey," I said hugging her.
"Night night, hunny. Sweet dreams all of you," she said softly.
"You too," we all echoed then she left.
"Right, there's three single beds. Who wants which?" Leo asked.
"Bagsy the one next to the window!" I screamed.
"I'll go in the middle!" Charlie rushed.
"I'll go in the one opposite," Leo yelled. We were all super hyper because we're so excited! We changed into our pyjamas and unpacked a little bit, only hanging up going out at night things such as dresses etc. Our hotel looked over LA city. The skyline at night was amazing. I walked out onto our mini balcony and just stared at it. I could get used to a view like this, no problem. I felt two arms wrap themselves around me and a head on my shoulder. I smiled knowing who it was and leant my head on theirs. We both stayed there for a couple of minutes. Finally he turned round to face me.
"I'm glad I get to spend this trip with you," Charlie smiled.
"Me too," I replied looping my arms around his neck as he did my waist.
"Can I tell you something?" Charlie asked.
"Go on then," I giggled.
"Ellen has also asked for Leo and I to reappear on the show on the same day as you!" Charlie whispered.
"Really?" I raised. He nodded. "I'm so excited!" I replied while Charlie spun me round. When he put me down, he lightly kissed the top of my head.
"Come on baby, let's go to sleep. Big day rehearsing tomorrow!" Charlie said pulling me inside. We all said our goodnights and slept in our separate beds.
It was about 2:30am and I woke up really thirsty, so I grabbed a water bottle from my hand luggage and went to the bathroom to fill it with fresh water. As I was walking to my bed, I heard a voice.
"Emily? Emily is that you?" It was Charlie.
"Yeah, sorry Charl I didn't mean to wake you up, I was just really thirsty," I said apologetically.
"Nah princess you didn't wake me up. I can't sleep very well," Charlie replied.
"How come?" I asked sitting on the end of his bed.
"Nervous. Nervous for the gigs and The Ellen Show. I know I shouldn't be, I'm used to it in a way," He said.
"Don't be silly, it's natural to be nervous. I'm nervous for shooting this music video. It's with people who I've never worked with before and it's not like performing on stage, you have cameras everywhere. Also The Ellen Show is another thing. I'm not confident talking in front of people," I said.
"Aww come here," Charl said pulling me into a hug.
"Can I sleep here? With you?" I asked as I was practically falling asleep.
"Course you can Emy, course you can. I love you," Charlie whispered into my ear.
"Love you more," I replied then pulled myself under the duvet and rested my head on Charlie with his arm around me. Then I fell into a deep sleep ready for the big rehearsal day tomorrow...
