Preparations and One Step Too Far

Charlie's POV

I couldn't sleep properly that night. I couldn't understand how Claudia and Jeremy had found out where Emily lives and why they would do this to her. Emily kept almost waking up through the night but I just settled her back down. She's got dance tomorrow (Saturday) and then Nationals on Sunday which she has to win. Leo and I have a concert tomorrow but then Leo, Shannon, Brad and I are allowed to come to the competition with her for support.

Emily's POV

When I woke up, Charlie was already awake on his phone. I sat up.

"Morning baby," he said.

"Morning babe," I replied and gave him a hug. "Do you want to get some breakfast?"

"In a minute. Let me do this first," and he pulled me back down and gave me the nicest, biggest hug ever while kissing my forehead.

"Don't worry about what happened yesterday, they will never hurt you while Leo, Jordi, Ollie, Andy, Ryan, Joey and I are around. I love you so much you know. Last night was the worst night of my life, I thought that I'd lost you. I love you princess and I don't know what I'd do without you," He mumbled onto my lips meaningfully.

"Last night was my worst night ever, I thought I was going to be killed. They were closing in on me with knives and everything, I've never been so scared... Ever!" I started to get upset again and Charlie could tell because he pulled me closer. "I don't know what I'd do with out you either," I smiled and we kissed each other until I pulled him out of bed.

"Come on. Blair's picking you and Leo up in an hour," I giggled. We went downstairs to find Overload and Leo already up.

"Hey guys," Leo said eating Nutella on toast.

"Hiya," I replied getting some cereal.

"Em, what time you at dance until today?" Ryan asked.

"4:30 because I've got Nationals tomorrow. Why?" I replied.

"Oh because we've got rehearsals until 4:15 today so we can pick you up if you want?" Ollie continued.

"Yeah sounds good. Thank you," I thanked.

Once Charlie, Leo and I had finished our breakfast, we went upstairs to get ready. I grabbed my white leotard and black shorts and went into the bathroom for a shower. I came out and got ready. I put my hair into a neat ballet bun and applied light makeup. Once I was complete, I walked back into my room to find Leo on his phone and Charlie doing his hair.

"You spend longer on your hair than I do on mine," I laughed. Charlie turned round, smiled and walked over to me and picked me up.

"Oh well, I'd rather look at you anyway," He smiled.

"Oh! I thought that you always wanted to look at my stunning face! I'm offended! Well... If that's how it is Lenehan," Leo joked, acting extremely offended.

"Shh Leo, you have a beautiful face," Charlie laughed.

"Why thank you," Leo said pretending to flick his hair over his shoulder.

"Right well, I need to stretch and warm up," I said as Charlie put me down. I started to get my muscles warmed up by jogging on the spot and star jumps. Then I sat in straddle and stretched out my muscles and stuff.
