Last Day

Charlie's POV

I just carried on running all the way home. I had to get there before Olivia did. Who knows what she could do to Brooke and Emily...

I reached my house and tried to open the door. Locked. Which I expected it to be. I knocked loudly and within a few seconds I heard the door open and Em was stood there. I grabbed hold of her and gave her a massive hug. Still out of breath.

"Emily, I'm so glad that your ok. Is Brooke ok? Is anyone in the house apart from you and Brooke?" I hurried.

"Charl, babe slow down. I'm absolutely fine and so is Brooke, she's upstairs watching Horrid Henry. Yeah there's a girl. Olivia I think she said? She said that you had to give her some homework or something?" Emily replied.

"No no no NO!" I yelled brushing passed her, taking her hand, and running into the lounge to where Olivia was just sat there.

"Hey Charlie," She smiled. Eugh I hate her.

"Erm... Hi," I replied briefly.

"I'll go see Brooke," Em said going upstairs.

"You missed me Charlie bear?" Olivia said standing up and walking towards me.

"No why would I?" I spat.

"Because I know I'm all you think about," She continued.

"Phahaha I have much better things to think about," I laughed.

"Don't pretend that you don't feel something between us," she was right in front of my face now.

"I'm not pretending, because there isn't," I raised. Next thing I know... She's crashing her lips onto mine.

Emily's POV

I came back down from talking to Brooke and saw Charlie and Olivia stood up with Charlie having his back to me. I paused on the last step whilst Olivia grinned suspiciously at me and crashed her mouth onto Charlie's lips. I was speechless to say the least.

"EW GET OFF OF ME! DON'T YOU GET THAT I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND? I DON'T LIKE YOU AND NEVER WILL. YOU LIED TO EMILY JUST TO GET IN MY HOUSE TO TRY AND MAKE HER JELOUS THINKING THAT I LOVE YOU. WELL, YOUR STUPID LITTLE PLAN BACKFIRED. I love Emily too much to ever hurt her. Just get out of my house," Charlie screamed. I've never seen him this mad. Even when Leo accidentally damaged one of his Sloth teddies (but we don't talk about that). I was proud of him. He stood up for me. As for Olivia, she gave a swift 'humph' and left. Charlie turned around to see me and pull me into a massive hug, picking me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed him.

"Thank you so much for that," I said softly.

"It's ok princess, no ones going to come close to ever taking you away from me," He replied.

"I love you Charl," I smiled putting my forehead onto his.

"I love you more," he grinned. "Let's go upstairs and watch a movie,"

"Sure which one?"

"What do you fancy?"

"Comedy,"

"I have Lee Evans. You wanna watch that?"

"Sounds great,"

And with that, we went upstairs and watched Lee Evans after an eventful night.

*a couple of days later*

Today was Charlie's last day in Bristol. He still had to go to school and he wanted to more than anything to say bye to his mates. One person I know he'll be glad to see the back of though is Olivia. Charlie and I both agreed that she's clingy and horrible. Brooke was at school today too so it was just Karen and I which I didn't mind. I've always liked Charlie's mum and she's always called me her 'second daughter'. All day I was just helping her pack. All the upstairs rooms and bedrooms were sorted, it was just downstairs.

"Karen? Do you want these ornaments wrapping in bubble wrap?" I wondered.

"Yes love, that would be great if you don't mind," Charlie text me saying that he's off to Subway straight from school as a goodbye thing and said to join him about 4pm. So at 3, I went and got showered and ready. I wore light makeup and had my hair in a messy bun. I wore some skinny jeans, yellow floaty belly top, hoodie and pale ballet flats. Once I was ready, Karen offered to take me as I am unfamiliar with the area.

When I got there, Charlie smiled, came over to meet me at the door and hugged me. He could tell that I was anxious.

"Don't be nervous, I'm right here," He grinned and put his arm around my waist as we walked over to join his mates.

"Hey guys this is Emily, Emily this is: Adam, Tom, Ansel and you know Josh," he introduced. I gave a smile and a small "Hi,"

I wasn't too hungry so I didn't have anything to eat. It was fun. Weird not having any girls to talk to but I had a great time. All of Charlie's mates were really nice.

We got home about 7:30pm as we went to the park after Subway. Charlie said a final goodbye to his mates. It was hard. I know what it feels like to move to a completely different area before, I've had to do it. However, Charlie will have Leo, Brad, Shannon and I so hopefully it won't be too bad. Tomorrow's the big move. A truck is being sent up and we'll follow in the car. So it will be a big day.
