CHAPTER 34

We arrived at the studio 45minutes later. I was rushed straight into hair and makeup. I could so get used to this! I wore my blue lyrical costume which is gorgeous. I had about 40minutes until the show started so I decided to warm up and have a look around. I knew Leo and Charlie would be here by now but where, I don't know. I walked around the studio, past hair and makeup. Still no sign. I gave up and went back into my dressing room to find Leo and Charlie sat casually on the sofa!
"What are you doing in here?" I smiled sitting down in between them.
"We tried finding you but we couldn't. So we asked the producer where your dressing room was and he led us here so we decided to wait here for you!" Leo explained.
"Aww thanks,"
"You nervous?" Charlie asked.
"Yep. It's my first ever interview. I'm dancing and singing on National TV. That's a lot of pressure!" I said.
"You'll be amazing Emy. You always are!" Charlie smiled as I leant my head on his shoulder.
"What are you singing and dancing to?" Leo questioned.
"Singing to Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson and dancing to When Your Gone by Avril Lavigne," I said.
"Nice one," Leo replied.
"CAN BARS AND MELODY AND EMILY WHITWORTH PLEASE MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE SET," cam a voice over the tannoy.
"That's us!" Charlie said helping me up. We all walked to the side of the set together. Miss Abbey and Blair gave us all a quick pep talk. I was up first...

"Our next guest is all the way from Yorkshire in the UK, please help me in welcoming Emily Whitworth!" Ellen introduced. I walked over to the sofa and sat down smiling. "Welcome to the show Emily,"
"Thank you for having me!" I said.
"No problem. So your a dancer, yes?"
"Yes I am. I also sing a little,"
"What awards have you won?"
"My most recent one is my National Miss Teen Dancer UK, but I have won a few before that,"
"Congratulations. Is this your first time in the states?"
"Yes it is, I've always dreamed of coming to LA and now I am finally here!"
"Aw your so sweet! I'm watched a video of you at your most recent dance showcase and your amazing!" She showed a clip in the background. I smiled.
"Thank you, that solo is also the one that I competed with and won with at Nationals," I explained.
"Very good. I'm understanding that your going to be making your U.S debut? Tell us more on that," Ellen asked.
"Well I'm going to be in Jessie J's music video of a cover of Wherever You Are. I'm rehearsing it today and tomorrow then shooting on Friday,"
"Amazing, well it sounds like your going to have a very successful career and I want to be part of this so..." Ellen started. She pulled out a baseball jacket which was bright pink and white with #DanceTeamEllen written on the back!
"Omg this is amazing! Thank you so much!" I said hugging her.
"Our pleasure. So your going to sing for us now and dance later on in the show, what are you singing?" Ellen asked.
"I'm singing Kelly Clarkson, Because Of You," I replied.
"When your ready, ladies and gentlemen, this is Emily Whitworth singing Because Of You," Ellen introduced. I made my way to the open space, grabbing a microphone on the way. I saw Charlie, Leo, Miss Abbey and Blair at the side all clapping me on. I stood in the centre and began...

And the song finished... "After the break we have Leo and Charlie also known as Bars And Melody so stay tuned!" Ellen said. I ran off stage into Charlie. He picked me up and spun me round.
"I'm so proud of you princess," Charlie praised.
"Thank you Charl, I love you," I replied.
"I love you too,"
"Go out there and be awesome, both of you," I said pulling Leondre into the group hug. Then Ellen called from the set.
"Please welcome back, again all the way from the UK, Leondre and Charlie; Bars And Melody!" The crowd applauded as they walked on and said hi to Ellen.

CHARLIE'S POV

"Welcome back boys," Ellen started.
"No thank you for inviting us back," Leo said.
"So Charlie, what have you both been doing since I saw you last?" Ellen asked.
"We've been really busy actually. We have done a lot of concerts around the UK by ourselves as well as with Overload Generation who member Jordi in it is actually Emily who was on earlier's older brother!" I said.
"Any new singles being released soon?" She wondered.
"That's confidential I'm afraid at the moment, but let's just say that we write a lot," Leo answered.
"So you've both just finished high school? What was that like?" Ellen said.
"That was amazing. We have our leaving ceremony next week I think but apart from that and picking up our results, we are all done! The exams were the worst part though, did not like them one bit," Leo chuckled.
"What was prom like?"
"Probably one of the best experiences of my life, I'm glad I could go and I wouldn't change it for the world," I said.
"Who did you go with? Do you have any girlfriends?" Ellen asked hinting.
"Well I asked this amazing girl Victoria to prom and she went with me. We are still seeing each other but we are taking it slow," Leo blushed.
"Aww that's cute Leondre, and Charlie what about you?" Ellen asked intrigued.
"I took my girlfriend Emily," I answered simply.
"Emily who was on earlier?" I nodded in response. "Well I think we all want to know more about this, let's bring back Emily ladies and gentlemen," Ellen announced. Emily walked back towards us and sat down next to me. I out my arm around her and she held that hand. It looked cute.
"Oooo! I see a little romance here," Ellen joked. "So how long have you two being together?" Emily looked at me and me her.
"Just over a year? Yeah just over a year," Emily smiled.
"How did you ask her to prom Charlie?" Ellen asked.
"It was when they had just announced her as Miss Teen Dancer UK, they had put the crown on her head, sash and her trophy. Then I surprised her by walking on the stage and giving a mini speech and I asked her in front of everyone," I explained.
"I'm taking that by the smiles, she said yes?" We both nodded. "Good otherwise that could of been awkward! Here is a picture of you both at said prom. You looked amazing," and a picture of Emily and I flashed on the screen.
"Thank you Ellen," Emily blushed. I pulled her closer and kissed the top of her head.
"Right, thank you all for coming. Good luck with the video and everything Emily; keep me updated! And good luck boys on the concerts. To finish off today, I introduce to you, her U.S dancing debut, Emily Whitworth performing to Avril Lavigne-When Your Gone," Ellen ended then with that, the music kicked in and Emily began dancing. God she's beautiful. I think about her late older sister Grace, she'll be so proud of her right now! When the dance had ended, we all went backstage again and ran to Blair and Miss Abbey.
"Well done guys! You all smashed it! I'm proud of all three of you!" Miss Abbey exclaimed!
"Me too! You did great! Nando's?" Blair asked.
"Nando's," we all confirmed. We got changed and headed for the restaurant...

A/N hope you enjoyed this chapter. I have a really good storyline (or what I think will be a good one) planned out so stay tuned.
