CHAPTER 30

Prom is tomorrow. I'm excited but nervous. Im still trying to get over the fact that I'm going to be in Jessie J's music video. The song is a cover of 5SOS Wherever You Are but it's being released as a single. Filming is next week in LA! Charlie and I are talking loads more now which I like. Leo, Shannon, Brad, Victoria and Charlie are coming over later for a movie day. Awkward because everyone's in couples apart from me and Charlie. Great. I'm looking forward to it don't get me wrong but the fact that Charlie and I both still like each other and want to get back together however we aren't is hard.

**1hour later**

The doorbell rang so I ran downstairs to greet everyone.

"Hey," the all shouted as they came through into the kitchen.

"Right, we've got coke, popcorn, chocolate and sweets! Jordi and Mel stole the chocolate covered raisins so there's none of them I'm afraid," I explained.

"Sounds great!" Victoria replied as we walked into the lounge.

"So what movie shall we watch?" Brad asked.

"The Woman In Black!" Leo perked up. We all agreed so I stuck it in the DVD player. Brad and Shannon we sat together being all cute on one sofa, Leo and Victoria doing the same on a different one so that left me and Charlie to be on the floor together.

During the movie Charlie started talking

"I want you back you know," Charlie whispered.

"I want you back as well," I replied. He dragged me into the kitchen so that we could talk without everyone else overhearing.

"Why don't we just get back together then Em?" Charlie said.

"I..l don't know," I said.

"I still love you, you still love me. So why are we making it so hard for ourselves," Charlie wondered.

"I've thought exactly the same," I replied sitting on the worktop.

"I'm really sorry for everything that happened Emy, I never meant to hurt you. I cried every night going to sleep at the thought that you weren't mine anymore," Charlie said coming over to me.

"You know I forgive you, it's just the trust issue from when I was at my old school always makes it way into play. I love you Lenehan, you know I do. I want to get back together. It's just I don't know, I'm really confused," I said breaking out into tears. Charlie came over and let me literally have his shoulder to cry on. His warmth embracing me in a hug. The familiar smell and warmth. The one I loved.

"I still love you as well and I'm going to fight to get you back," Charlie confirmed. It made me feel wanted. Something I haven't felt since we broke up...

**The Next Day**

IT'S PROM!! I've been waiting for this day ever since I was little! Shannon and Victoria slept over last night so that we could spend all day getting ready! We had had our nails done a couple of days ago. The limo was coming at 5:30 to pick us up along with Leo, Brad and Charlie. Charlie and I still haven't decided what we were doing.

We didn't wake up until about 11am and the hair and makeup artists were coming at 2pm so we went downstairs for breakfast to find Overload and Mel down their already. We were still in our pyjamas.

"You excited for today?" Mel said bouncing into my arms.

"Yeah very," I replied hugging her tightly.

"I'm going to make sure you look like Cinderella going to the ball," she smiled. Aw I love my 4 year old sister.

"Oh so are you going to help out the makeup and hair stylists?" She nodded. "Well, since your helping me, I only think that it's fair to help Shannon and Victoria. Don't you?" I smiled.

"I will your all going to look beautiful," then Victoria pulled us four girls in for a massive hug. Whilst doing so, we felt arms come and hug us.

"Group hug!' Joey yelled. Pour Mel was stuck in the middle being squished! When they eventually let go Shannon, Victoria and I went to go get some cereal.

"So girls it's your prom tonight aye!" Andy said.

"Yep we've been planning this since I can remember!" Shannon replied.

"Aw my little sister's growing up!" Jordi smiled hugging me.

"I'm not that little, I'm only 3 years younger than you!" I answered.

"Still," Jordi laughed.

"I remember my prom..." Ryan dreamed. His was only 2 years ago. "It's was a great night,"

"Why Ry?" Ollie teased.

"Do any of youse remember your proms?" Ryan asked.

"Yep," echoed all round.

"What's after prom like?" Victoria asked.

"What isn't it like! It's amazing, where's yours?" Andy replied.

"Someone's parents are putting up a gazebo in nearby gardens," I said.

After that, all us girls (including Mel) went upstairs and had showers but only getting into comfy's because the hair and makeup stylists will be here shortly.

"So what's going on between you and Charlie?" Shannon wondered.

"Well, we both still want to be together. We both haven't been the same since the break up," I answered.

"You two need to sort things out and just get back together, it's what you both want!" Victoria pointed out.

"Yeah I know. It's just the trusting thing. He said he'll do anything to get me back! Anyway, how's you and Leo and you and Brad?" I asked changing the subject.

"We're good, he took me out the other night to a fancy meal and then a romantic walk. Love him loads," Victoria blushed.

"It's going really well. At first I thought I'd be a little weird you know, with us being best friends first and everything, but it's nothing like that at all!" Shannon exclaimed. All their happiness just reminded me the situation I was in but I didn't let the girls know. I'm extremely happy for them.

"Emily! Shannon! Victoria! The stylists are here!" Ollie yelled with his Bristollian accent that reminded me so much of Charlie's...

**2 and a half hours later**

Our makeup and hair was complete! The stylists let Melissa do some little things bless her! I was in love with them all! All we needed to do now was get dressed. We each in turn went into the bathroom and changed into our deluxe dresses. Jewellery wise, I decided on simple stud diamonds and my TFIOS (aka Charlie) necklace. I know what your thinking but honestly, it's my favourite. (All outfits on the side☺️)

When we were all ready, we walked downstairs all holding hands to find all our parents there. Including Miss Abbey?

"Auntie Abbey? What are you doing here?" Victoria asked.

"Well I wanted to see my beautiful niece and my star dancer at their prom to say how proud I am of both of you, I've taught you like my own kids," she explained. We all pulled in for a group hug. The doorbell went and Jordi answered the door.

"Hey boys," he said. It was Leo and Brad. They both looked super smart in their tuxes. They each had a corsage on and one to give to the girls. I heard my phone vibrating in my handbag so I answered.

Y: hello?

C: Hey Emily,

Y: Charlie now's not the time I'm busy

C: hey listen, Im really sorry for everything I truly am. I just need you back,

Y: Charlie I want you too...

Then I heard the door go so I went to answer it...

"So," he says hopefully while standing in front of me...
