The Phonecall

"Hey baby girl" said that familiar Bristollian accent and I knew all too well that it was Charlie.

"Hey Charl," mum, Shannon and Brad left the room so I could talk to him in private.

"Shannon and Brad text me what happened. Are you ok? I've been so worried, I've rung every hours," He said concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine Charl, I think. I miss you," I replied.

The phone conversation went like this (y=you C=Charlie)

C: I miss you more baby. Can't believe this happened to you. I'm so angry at them two.

Y: I know Charl. This is the furthest that it's ever gone. Luckily I got away with just a concussion. I'm not allowed back to school till next week so I have recovery time.

C: That's a good idea. Are you still allowed to do your showcase?

Y: Yeah absolutely; nothing can stop me from doing that.

C: Good. Honestly I'm so upset that as soon as Leo and I are out of the country, them two idiots think it's ok to go and mess with you.

Y: Yeah however they probably would've done it if you were here or not. How's America?

C: Haha and great, The Ellen Show was amazing, it was nice seeing her again.

Y: Aww.

C: I can't wait to see you again though baby only 12 more days.

Y: That's 11 days too long!

C: Haha I know princess. I've got you a present though. I think you'll love it.

Y: Charl you didn't have to do that. I love you.

C: I love you too and yes I did You're the best and you have been through a lot.

Y: Aw Charl!

C: How are you feeling? What have the doctors said?

Y: Basically I have to stay in overnight just for checks and stuff so I will be released tomorrow morning. And then I get a week off school for recovery and so that my head mistress and governors can sort out a suitable punishment for Claudia and Jeremy.

C: Alright, sounds ideal. More practise for your show.

Y: That's the plan. I have to go into school tomorrow to collect all my work that I have to complete so I stay on track and everything.

C: Ok baby hope everything's ok and remember I'm always just a call away.

Y: I know Charl, I have to go because Mel's coming. I love you.

C: I love you more Em. Get well soon and I'll be back before you even know it. When we fly back, we land at the one near yours so I get to see you before I have to travel back down to Bristol.

We ended the call by both of us blowing kisses down the phone. Before I even knew it, Mel came bursting through the door with massive 'Get Well Soon' balloons! She came and jumped onto my bed and gave me a cuddle. Even though she annoys me most of the time, I think it's safe to say, I have the best little sister that I could ever ask for. Jordi came and gave a massive hug as well, I suppose I have the best big brother in the world as well. Overload came in and said 'get well soon' and everything.

"Are you sure you don't want us to go sort them out now you've ended up in here?" Questioned Ollie. I pondered this for a moment but then replied with:

"No you're alright. Anyway you can get locked up for it," They just laughed and shrugged.

"Emily the plan is that your mum and I will stay here overnight with you so Jordi and the boys can take Melissa home and make sure she's alright and drop her off at school tomorrow," Dad explained and with that, Melissa and the boys left so it was just my parents and I.

"Did you enjoy talking to Charlie darling?" Mum asked.

"Yeah, Shannon had told him what had happened and he was desperate to speak to me to see if I was ok. He was so angry with Claudia and Jeremy. He said 'I'm so upset that as soon as Leo and I are out of the country, them two idiots think it's ok to go and mess me' And I could tell in his voice, I know him too well," I blushed.

"Aw he really does care for you and love you doesn't he," dad said. "My little girls growing up. It's only 6months until prom and she leaves school," sad continued as he was filling up.

"Your dad and I are exceptionally proud of you. Dad, Mel, Jordi, Ryan, Andy, Ollie, Joey, Brad, Shannon and I are coming to the showcase on Saturday!" Mum stated.

"Thanks mum, I love you guys," I said softly.

"We love you more hunny. You need to get some sleep, it's getting late and you've had an extremely stressful day. Night night darling," then I went to sleep.
