Our Secret Is Out

Woke up with warm arms wrapped around me. I turned to face Charlie and he opened his beautiful blue eyes.

"Morning Emily," he said in his morning voice.

"Morning Charlie," I replied giving him a hug. I sat up and grabbed my phone and checked twitter. The tweet that Charlie tweeted last night had over 2,000 favourites and re-tweets. Also some comments; some were nice, eg: "aw that's cute Charlie","I'm glad your happy" others however weren't. "Who is she I demand to know","Why are you with someone Charlie? You should be with me" And so on and so forth. Charlie noticed something was wrong. He grabbed my phone and I let him. He read through the comments.

"It's ok Emy, let's just focus on the positive ones. Haters are going to hate. I love you and that's all that matters," Charlie said hugging me tighter.

"I love you. Promise it will be ok?" I questioned.

"I promise. No one can hurt you when Leo and I are here," He replied. This made me smile. We went downstairs to get some breakfast and mum and dad were in the kitchen.

"Emily, as you don't have to go back to school till Thursday, Karen asked if, when she came to pick Charlie up, you wanted to go with them then I would come pick you up Wednesday night?" Mum asked. I looked at Charlie and he smiled.

"Sounds great," I replied. I've never been to Charlie's in Bristol before, so this should be fun. I'll get to meet all his mates. For breakfast, had fresh fruit topped with Nutella. Yummy! Karen and Brooke were coming for us about 12pm so (as it was only 10:30am) we had plenty of time so Charlie and I decided to get dressed and hang out at the park for a bit. We went and got changed and Charlie got changed in the bathroom. When he came back I was just finishing my makeup and hair. Today, I was wearing: white jeans, turquoise floral belly top, a plain hoodie, frilly socks and my Nike Airs. I simply brushed my hair and curled a few bits of it, also I applied some light makeup.

"Aw you look beautiful babe," Charlie said as he came back.

"Thanks, not looking too bad yourself," I replied smiling.

"Cheers," he laughed. "So princess..." He started sitting on the bed and pulling me onto his knees.

"Yeah..." I replied.

"I really want to tell the Bambinos that I'm with you. I know I posted that thing yesterday but you and I have both had dm's asking what it's all about so I just want to clear it up. What do you think?" He asked.

"Erm, I guess that would be okay. Come on let's take a picture," I giggled dragging him up. I opened the camera and set the timer. I walked over to Charlie and he decided to pick me up so I buried my head into his neck and he rested his on my shoulder. It was perfect. Without realising, the photo had clicked. We laughed and I played with Charlie's hair until he put me down. We looked at the picture and it was good.

"Aw I love it. Send it to me," Charlie whispered.

"Ok and I like it, it's cute," I replied. I quickly iMessaged Charlie the photo and next thing I know, I had notifications from Twitter and Instagram (both with the same caption) with the picture and a caption:

@barsandmelody: So Bambinos, you know how much I love you all so I don't want to hide it any longer. This is my girlfriend and many of you may know her as Leo's best friend. This is Emily. I'm happy so I hope all you support me. This in no way changes anything, we will still kiss you on the cheek at m&gs and do BAM sandwiches but I'm in a relationship. I retweeted and liked it. After that, I posted the picture to my Instagram and Twitter and added:

So this has officially gone public. I hope all the fans will understand that I don't want to come in between you and the boys (if anything, I can tell you all embarrassing stories😉). Love you Charlie😘

Out of the corner of my eye I saw him smile. Next thing I know, he's grabbing my waist, pulling me onto his knee and kissing me.

"I love you,"

"I love you too,"

10 minutes later, we walked to the local park hand in hand.

Emily's POV

We were on our way to the park and I decided to pick Emily up and put her on my back.

"Put me down Charlie!" She laughed and tried to let herself free.

"Erm... No. Not until you say that Charlie is the best in the whole wide universe," She shook her head. "Well it looks like your staying there for a long time," I teased. Eventually she did so I put her down...

"Tig! Your on," I said playfully. Emily looked at me.

"Really Charlie?! Your almost 16 and we're playing tig?" She asked.

"Yeah! Why not! Tig is fun!" I laughed and started to run away. She was coming after me. Emily was quite fast to giver credit. I stood still so she thought that I'd let her tig me, however at the last minute I changed direction and ran even further away.

"Stop it Lenehan," Emily laughed and she fell on the floor partly out of breath and partly in a fit state of giggles.

I ran to her and started tickling her.

"Charlieeee! You know how ticklish I am!" She attempted to say throughout the laughter. I didn't stop though. She tried to fight me off but I was stronger than her. I pinned her arms and the floor and she blew her hair out of her face.

"How do you always end up pinning me on the floor?" She asked giggling.

"Because I'm awesome," I laughed. "You know you love it,"

"Obviously Charlie. Obviously I like nothing better than to be pinned down on the dirty grass in the middle of a park. This is like a dream come true," She sarcastically said.

"I knew it," I teased while pulling her up and putting her and my knee. I'm so happy she's coming back to Bristol with me until Wednesday night. I have a massive surprise for her... Due to Leo and I's career taking off, our parents decided that it was better for Leo and I to live closer to each other and Blair. So, with Leo and Blair living up here in West Yorkshire, I'm moving up here And I'll be in the same school as them! I can't wait to tell her I might even tell her tonight.
