Chapter 23

6:30am. School. No just no. It was GCSE week as well. Eugh. I rolled back over trying to fall back asleep when I felt someone come behind me and pull me close.

"Morning baby girl, my Miss Teen Dancer UK!" Charlie said in his morning voice. I turned to face him and smiled.

"Morning Charl," I replied smiling.

"You ready for this week?" He asked.

"Don't think I'd ever be ready," I replied. After about 5 minutes of talking and cuddling, we dragged ourselves out of bed. I took my clothes into the bathroom with me and hopped into the shower. The warm water trickling down my cold back. Can't I just stay in here all day?

No? Ok then... I guess I'll just go and take my GCSE's instead. When I got out, I put my uniform on and did my hair in a simple fish tail plait to my right side. I applied my usual makeup and went back into my room to find Charlie dressed.

"Aw! Is my Emily still tired?" Charlie asked coming over grabbing my waist as I yawned. I nodded. We went downstairs, had breakfast then went to go meet Leo, Brad and Shannon.

When we met them we all tried to take our minds off the dreaded week ahead.

"We should all go the cinema on Monday or something to celebrate! We have the rest of the year off anyway!" Shannon suggested.

"Yeah sounds great. What should we see?" Brad asked.

"The Rewrite?" Leo suggested.

"Yeah sounds great! Charlie, you in?" I said nudging him. He looked up from his phone.

"Err. What? Err. Yeah sounds good," he never normally acted like this. What was up with him? Unless he just lost track of the conversation... I thought nothing of it.

When we arrived at school, Claudia and Jeremy's gang were stood where they usually did, at the school gates. I felt Charlie's arm over my shoulder and pull me closer to him protectively. As we walked past them I could feel their eyes staring at us like a dagger. The first exam was english, then I had math, then 2 science. Great.

"Emily, you can put your stuff in my locker if you want?" Charlie offered.

"Yeah thanks. Wish we didn't have to put our phones in," I replied smiling.

"I know," Charlie replied hugging me from behind. "Come on, we're going to be late," he continued dragging me by the hand to the exam hall.

I was nervous. No I wasn't; I was petrified. The paper lay in front of me and all I could think about was that what I write on this paper could decide my future aside from dance because even though being a dancer was my main goal, I had to have a backup plan incase it didn't work out.

"The time is 9am, you have 1hour, you may open the paper. Good luck!" The adjudicator instructed.

**at the end of the day**

"Thank god that's over!" Leo said relieved.

"I know! That's the 3 main subject exams out of the way!" Shannon expressed. I noticed Charlie on his phone not really paying attention again. I walked over to him to make sure he was ok.

"Hey Charl, you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah why wouldn't I be?" He replied.

"No reason! You just looked concerned that's all," I said.

"Nothing for you to worry about!" Charlie reassured.

CHARLIE'S POV

"Nothing for you to worry about!" I lied. The truth is that someone has found out my number and keeps texting me saying stuff like:

"She doesn't deserve you Charlie! You can do well better than that filth Emily,"

"I love you Charlie, and I know you love me too!"

"I know where you and your precious little pathetic girlfriend live. So watch out!"

"You'll be mine one day Lenehan!"

"I know your only with her over pity! Why else?"

All to stuff really got to me. I didn't want to tell Emily because I couldn't bare to see her upset. I love her more than anything and that's why I'm with her: because I care for her and really like her. All this stuff this mystery person was texting me was completely false! I didn't know what to do...

A/N sorry it's so short but it's kinda an important chapter about the texting stuff so I didn't want it to run on too long, so yeah! What do you think Charlie will do about this mystery texter?
