CHAPTER 51

I woke up to the sound of Mel crying. Why did she have to get me up so early?

"Mel, what's wrong?" I asked pulling her onto my knee.

"I...I had another nightmare," she cried into my chest.

"It's okay, your safe. Nothing can harm you when Jordi and I are here," I soothed. Mel soon fell fast asleep so I laid her back down between Brooke and Jordi. I couldn't fall back to sleep so I just laid there next to Charlie. Minutes later he stirred and wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close. I could tell he wasn't asleep anymore as he was smiling.

"Charl..." Nothing.

"Charlie..." Nothing.

"Charlie-Joe Lenehan-Green I know your not asleep," I smiled.

"How do you know? And why do you always use my full name?" I groaned turning to face me.

"A because you talking to me now, and B because I know it annoys you so I can get your attention," I quietly giggled.

"Good thing I love you,"

"Meh I tolerate you," I teased. This made Charlie put a sarcastic lip out. "I'm only joking, love you too,"

By this time Jordi had woken up as well.

"Morning all, good morning!" He chirped. How he can be so enthusiastic at this time in the morning is beyond me, honestly it is!

"Jordi what time is Blair coming for us?" Charlie asked.

"Not sure man, I think Ryan said it was about 12pm. Emy are you coming?" Jordi said.

"Erm, I don't know. Charl did you talk to Blair?"

"Yes I did, and he said that due to safety reasons, were only allowed us, Overload, Dan and Blair backstage with us, sorry Em," he cuddled.

"It's ok, I'll call Victoria round to maybe go for a Starbucks or something," I said. I was disappointed obviously that I couldn't go to the gig but I understood why. It's not fair to put everyone's safety at risk. I text Victoria:

To: Victoria👭

Helloooooo! Do you fancy meeting up at Starbucks later? Boys at the gig

She soon replied.

To: Emily👯

Hey hey hey hey! Yeah sure, meet you in town at 12pm?

To: Victoria👭

Okay dokey!

By know, both Brooke and Mel had woken up so we went inside to get breakfast and say morning to Karen. After, we all went upstairs to go get ready, apart from Mel and Brooke as Tilly was coming over later for a Frozen movie day. Aww! They're cute!

Charlie went into Jordi's room to get changed so I used his room. I wore my loose denim top, black leggings, boots, patterned scarf and my beige/white oversized cardigan (on side). I put on simple makeup and did my hair half up-half down with it straight. When I was ready, I went back downstairs and said thank you to Karen for letting me stay, bye to Mel and Brooke.

As I went to go get my boots on, Jordi came down the stairs followed by Charlie.

"Bye Jordi, good luck for the gig!" I said hugging him.

"Thanks sis, have fun in town, love you,"

"Love you too," then he walked over to Mel. Charlie's turn next.

"Bye baby girl, have fun with Victoria," he said pulling me into a cuddle.

"Bye babe, have fun and good luck with the gig," I smiled.

"Thanks Em, love you," he cooed.

"Love you too, say 'hi' to Leo for me,"

"I will do, bye" and he gave me a kiss. Our lips perfectly together.

I left for Starbucks to meet Victoria and when I got there, she was patiently waiting outside. We went in and both ordered a Caramel Frappacino and sat down.

"So what you been up to recently?" Victoria asked sipping her drink.

"Not much since LA, normal dance class, spent time with Charlie, spent time with Mel and Jordi. What about you?"

"Erm... Spent time with Leo mainly aha! It's still really weird without Brad or Shannon here. I miss them so much," she replied.

"Yeah same. Shannon's in Spain and Brad's just sort of isolated himself from everyone," I said.

We carried on just hanging around and a little bit of shopping around town. It was nice! Quality time with my bestfriend; the best way to spend an afternoon!
