Resuming To 'Normal'

On Monday my alarm went off. Eugh. Did I really have to get up? Yes, I think so. Luckily mum had arranged for Shannon and Brad to get dropped off at mine on their parents way to work so that they could walk with me. Thank God as well because who knows what could happen if I bump into Claudia and Jeremy...

By the time we got to school, it has been quite uneventful, which was good as that meant no trouble.

"So how long Charlie and Leo gone for?" Brad asked.

"6 weeks. They went on Saturday. Charlie and I were crying at the airport. I don't see him daily as it is, so now not seeing him on a weekend is even worse. Before Charlie left he said something really cute about how he was missing my dance showcase and how upset he was. Also how he wanted to be that lad in the auditorium saying 'look at that amazing girl down there! She's my girlfriend.' But Charlie promised that he would watch the show on video though. I miss Leo too, he's my best friend it's just weird being at school without him," I replied softly trying not to get upset.

"Aw it's ok, you've got us! And also Brad and I have got a surprise for you...WE ARE COMING TO YOUR SHOWCASE!" Shannon said excitedly.

"OMG! That's the coolest thing ever!" I yelled while Brad pulled us all into a hug. Today was the day when all three (usually four) of us have all of our lessons together; however the lessons kind of suck: mathematics, science, science, PE and language. None of the things I'm good at. Boy, this was going to be a long day...

A week and a half later, on Saturday night, Charlie iMessaged me saying that he had a free night so he could FaceTime me. Yay! So I called him...no answer. I tried again...no answer. I was getting anxious now. He had just messaged me saying that he could but now he's not answering? This doesn't make sense. But I got a FaceTime call from him 5 minutes later.

"Sorry babe, I was going to the loo. But since Leo was in ours, I had to go down the corridor to Blair's room," Charlie laughed.

"No problem babe," I replied smiling. The conversation went like this: (C=Charlie E=You L=Leo)

C: so what you been up to?

Y: oh not much. School. Boring as ever.

C: Claudia or Jeremy said anything to you?

Y: no they've not been in. Exclusion I suppose aha

C: about time, from the sounds of it.

Y: deffinetly! So how's America?

C: it's mint! Love it here, on the Ellen Show tomorrow. Wish you were here though. You'd love it!

Y: glad your enjoying it and I know but I've got my GCSE's at the end of the year so I really need to focus on that. Talking of GCSE's, how are you keeping up on your coursework? School give you a bunch to do?

C: no, We've both got a tutor here so school have sent her an email with everything that I need to cover while I'm out here so that when I get back I'm not behind. How's dance going?

Y: really well. Every dance is complete now which is good seeing as it's next week.

C: next week! God that's come round fast. So wish I could go Em, I love to seeing you dance.

Y: I really want you to come but your in America. I'm trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about how much I'm missing you.

C: yeah I've got Leo on watch so if I look like I'm sad he's got to come over and sort me out.

Y: Hahaha Leondre will love that, getting to jump on you just to get your attention!

C: Whoa whoa whoa! No one ever said anything about allowing him to jump on me!
