"Philp?" I was still in shock. What was he doing here? I'm glad he's ok, I'm happy that he is ok. For a moment there I actually thought that he could be dead.

"What are you doing here?" he asked looking confused and concerned. "It's a long story, I will tell you everything soon just not now." He looked different as he was no longer wearing his Royal Navy uniform, he was wearing commoner clothing. That's why I didn't recognize him at first.

I then saw Captain Townsend walking back to the table. Philp grabbed me, and pushed me behind as if he was trying to protect me. Captain Townsend then stood in front of Philp.

"What are you doing there?" he looked behind Philp confused to why I was behind him. I was also confused to way he pushed me behind him. I tried to walk forward, but he stopped me with his arm. "Stay where you are."

I was confused why wasn't Philp letting me go. "Philp." He the grabbed out his sword and pointed it at Captain Townsend.

"You are not to move an inch or even touch her." Captain Townsend then just laughed at Philp. "You're going to have to get your hands off her, mate."

Philp kept his guard up and still didn't let me go. "Philp, it's ok you can let me go." I assured him.

"No, he's a pirate I can't trust him." Captain Townsend just glared at Philp. "If you don't let go of her, I'll kill you." Captain Townsend then grabbed out his sword. Everyone in the pub was now watching what was going on.

"Your choice, mate." Captain Townsend said as he shrugged. "Philp, put the sword down, don't make a scene." I whispered.

He then put sword away and let me go. Captain Townsend also put his away. He turned to the people watching "watcha looking at. Back to yer, business."

Philp still stared at Townsend. "I see you've found your friend Miss, Lockhart." I grabbed my compass from off the table then turned to Captain Townsend.

"Any luck?" I ignored his comment as I think it was best for us to leave. "Follow me." Captain Townsend led the way, and as I was following him Philp grabbed my arm.

"What are you doing?" I looked at Philp and removed his hand from my arm. "You, can come if you're so worried." I then proceeded to follow Townsend. "Anything the matter?" he asked. "No, of course not."

We then caught up to Dax. "Did you find any promising men?"

"Aye, captain I did." Captain Townsend looked amused. "How many?" Dax then took out a paper which looked like a list.

"Twenty men, captain "I could see why Captain Townsend was amused. "They be waiting for us on the port, captain." Dax then led us to the port where we saw Marty and nineteen other men.

"Dax,"  Captain Townsend said in a confused tone. "aye, captain,"

"I only see nineteen men." Dax then looked at the list, and up again. "Ah, that's cause' the twentieth be right there, captain."

He pointed behind us, Townsend and I turned our head to look  behind us. Dax was pointing at Philp. "Him? Dax?" Captain Townsend asked.

"Aye, captain." Philp said nothing and stayed silent. I turned to look at him, but he turned away as if he was embarrassed. Townsend then sighed.

"Let's get back to the ship then." We walked towards the longboats. I saw Marty and Dax then both holding a chest. "Captain should we bring this chest with us?"

"Ye, bring it with you."

Dax and Marty went their way to their longboat as did the the rest of the pirates with the longboats they found lying around.

Townsend, Philp and I all went one longboat. Philip still kept his eye on Townsend. "Grab a paddle boy." Townsend said as he handed Philp a paddle.

"Why, must I?" Philp asked hostilely. "Cause ye here now, we got an extra person on here." Philip Grabbed the paddle and sat bedside me.

"let's get the over with." Townsend pushed the boat into the water. It was silent there were glances from Townsend and Philp every now and then. They glared at each other, and not in a good way. I could feel the tension between them they did not like each other.

We finally made it to the ship. "Alright, set the sails." Captain Townsend yelled out to the men, and then walked to helm.

"Miss, Lockhart." I then walked over to Townsend. "Give  me the heading." Philp followed me watching Townsend as I pulled out the map and compass.

"We are to go west." Townsend then turned the helm. "Marty,"

 "aye, captain,"

"make sure everything is in check." Marty then went on deck to make sure everyone was doing their part.

"Come on men, put yer back into it." he yelled out to the crew. "Miss, Lockhart." I then looked up at Townsend. "There's something waiting for you in yer, room." I wondered what it was.

"Dax, take Miss Lockhart to her room and show her surprise." Dax then came towards me. "After ye Miss."

Philp once again looked concerned and followed. "You stay here boy." Townsend said to him. "I'll put you in the brig if ye, cause trouble."

I then proceeded to follow Dax, and he took me to the Captains chamber. "It's in yer, room Miss ye, can go ahead."

I then entered the room that Townsend gave me when I first arrived to his ship. There was a chest at the end of the bed.

"Is this it?" I said to myself. I then went over to it and opened it and inside was clothing. Hmm I guess he did want me to have something more comfortable.

Inside were some black trousers, A white tunic, a red corset, brown boots, a black belt and a red waistcoat. I was debating weather I should put it on or not, but I couldn't resist as I loved the colour red, and clothing in general.

I then quickly tied my hair up and and changed. I looked at myself in the mirror, I thought I looked great. I felt comfortable, but I felt I was missing something. Ah, my mother's necklace I still had it I kept close to me as it is very important to me.

before I put in on I opened it. I was a heart shaped necklace, and inside were pictures of my mother, my father and I. I looked at the pictures, and remembered Father.

"I miss you Father." I then closed the locket and put it back on.

I then looked at myself in the mirror once more and thought I was ready. I then headed close to the helm and met up with Townsend, Marty, Dax and Philp.

"Now that's much better." Townsend said. He then signaled Marty to take over the helm as he left. I sat down on the steps of the helm taking in the ocean breeze. Philp then came and sat beside me.

"You look great Eliza." I smiled as he said that. "I know you don't trust Townsend, but I'm only helping him so that I can get revenge on Admiral Williams.

"Philp then looked at me. "I'm just afraid that you could get hurt and I still don't trust him he's a pirate after all." I didn't agree with Philp as these pirates have not harmed me in any way, and my demeaner on pirates has now changed. Maybe that was a bad thing I thought, but maybe it wasn't.

"Don't worry once I help Townsend everything will go back to the way it was." Philp still had a worried expression on his face.

Townsend then walked towards me. "Here, take it." He handed me a sword. "It will come to good use to you later."

I got up and took the sword. It felt good having it in my hand it reminded me of when father taught me to use one. He then also handed me a baldric

"Ye gonna need somewhere to keep yer, sword. He took the sword from my hand while I put on the baldric it seemed like a perfect fit.

Townsend then handed me the sword back and I put it on the baldric. "There that's much better, now ye definitely look like a pirate."
