I was still in shock after what Philip told me, but I couldn't think much about it now. I had to get ready. Captain Townsend is probably waiting for me as I have the ma- wait my map Philip has it!
I remember I had asked him it to hold it for me. That's why he brought up here isn't it. To protect me so that I won't be able to face Admiral Williams. Is that why he told me he loved me ? Ha, I don't think so nothing is going to stop me.
I grabbed the garments off the bed only to realize that it was a dress. It had ruffled selves and it was red and black. It was a very nice dress. I wondered how Philip found it. I wondered why he folded it if he knew it was a dress. I didn't pay much attention to it and took off the dress I was wearing, and quickly changed into my new one.

It fit perfectly. I loved it I quickly put my harness back on, and made sure my sword was in it. I then headed out. I saw Philip and he looked at me surprised.
"What did you really think you could try, and distract me, seriously you were wrong now give me my map back." Philip then handed me my map.
"I'm sorry I just wanted to protect you." I scoffed "yeah, but in trying to do so you lied to me, and I don't know if I can trust you now."
I started to walk towards the longboats as most of the crew was already in some of them. "Eliza wait" Philip said as he grabbed my arm.
"I'm sorry, but this is the first time I lied to you, and technically I didn't really lie because my confession was true." I just looked at him in shock.
"The first time you lied? No, Philip this isn't the first time. You didn't tell me about my father's plan until we were on the trip"
I yanked my arm away from his hand. "You didn't tell me what what my father was planning, and you didn't even try to stop him."
"I'm sorry" Philip said "there was nothing I could do, it wasn't my place to speak, I mean do you really think your father would've even listened to me." I looked at Philip trying my best not to let my tears flow down.
"Yes, I do because my father saw you like the son he never had, he cared about me, but he cared about you too." I sighed " now there's nothing we can do now that he's gone."
Philip then looked down, and back up at me. "I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sorry, but I didn't lie to you when I told you that I love you, because I do"
I knew that he was sorry, but I was just too upset at him to forgive him right now. "Ms. Lockhart" Townsend called my name. I turned around, and walked over to him. I left Philip alone, but right now I just needed some space.
Some space to think. "You'll be riding with me since you have the map ye, do remember our deal right?" Townsend asked me.
"Yes, of course I do." I replied. Townsend then directed me to the longboat we would travel in. "Ah, your the only one left, well then ye can go with Marty, and Dax."
Townsend said to Philip as I got down to our longboat. "I have a name you know." I heard Philip say back.
"Ye, I do know that, but I don't care enough to learn it, go on now run along, we don't have much time." I had finally made it to the longboat, and waited for Townsend to get down.
"Time? What? how are we running of time it's only us here." I heard Philip again. I wanted to go up there, and tell him to shut his mouth as it could get him killed. I was upset at him, but I didn't want him to die.
"Yes, boy we are running out of time because yer, friends the Royal Navy have been on our tail the entire time." I then heard the sound of a sword.
"Either ye do as a say, and be quiet or I'll make you quiet, now run along!" I then saw Marty, Dax and Philip start to climb down to their longboat, and Townsend to ours.
Townsend had reached our boat, and sat down. "Let's go ye, filthy pirates we got a long way to go still." he screamed to his crew to let them know it was time to start rowing.
Townsend then turned to me, and grabbed the paddles. "What does our map say Ms. Lockhart?" Townsend asked me.
I looked at him, and then grabbed the map out. "Well, after we get to the island we will have to go through the jungle first in order to get to treasure cove." Townsend then looked at me.
"Very well, it won't be long now." Townsend said. I felt comfortable with him for reason. Though every time he looked at me my heart started to race.
I knew that I was starting to develop feelings for him, but I knew in the end we could never be together because we come from different worlds. People saw him as a Ruthless, and scary pirate captain. I saw him as a man that would do anything to protect the people around him, and his ship of course.
"Why did you choose to be a pirate?" I asked Townsend. "I didn't choose it, I was born into it." He said.
"Born into it? How exactly?" I was curious by what he meant. "Me family comes from a long line of pirates, you see my father was pirate, and so was his father before that and so on."
Now I understood what he meant. "Begin a pirate is all I know." He was right, he was only taught to be a pirate since a very young age.
"Do you think that is why I am a bad man Ms. Lockhart?" He asked me. "No, I don't think you are a bad man I think that you fight for the only thing you know how." I Replied.
He laughed "well, if you say so, I only trust beautiful ladies such as yourself." He caught me off guard that I started-to cough.
"You're different Ms. Lockhart you're one of the bravest women I have ever met." I couldn't believe my ears I was begin complimented by Townsend for the first time since I met him.
We then came to a stop. We were on the island already. "Let's go Ms. Lockhart we still have more of this journey ahead of us."
