Pirates! It was Pirates! Oh no this is not  good. I looked around for Philip he had broken away from the soldiers that were holding him, they were too busy freaking out and getting ready to fight to care.

He then ran over to me, and broke me free from the soldiers that were holding me, and then grabbed my hand. I made sure to look all around me so that no one saw us. The ship was a mess Admiral Williams was screaming at everyone from his ship to get back to this ship or least what was left of them.

That's when I saw the map rolling around on the deck floor it hit my feet. I picked it up and continued to follow Philip.

Philip quickly brought me to the captains chamber and made sure the coast was clear. He barricaded the door so that no one could get in. He grabbed my arm once again, and put me in a closet.

"What are you doing?" I had no idea what Philip was thinking, but I thought he was crazy or something. "Do you know who's out there?" He asked me. Of course I knew who was out there why is he asking me like I don't know.

"Yes I do, pirates are out there. " What a stupid question to ask I thought. "Exactly, and they're not just any pirates it's Captain Townsend and his crew." Oh no how did Philip know that it was Captain Townsend?

"He won't give any mercy he will kill you if I don't protect you, it is my duty to protect you." I was confused what did he mean it was his duty to protect me, and he knows better than anyone that I can protect myself.

"It's not your duty Philip, and I can protect myself." He looked at me with a serious and stern face. "My orders from your father were to protect you, and I intend to fulfill his dying wish." What! Father ordered to Philip to protect me? Why?

I looked at Philip and realized we didn't have much time so there was no reason to object.

"Fine, I'll do as you say." Philip then closed the closet door. It was dark, but I still had not felt alone I felt my like my father was still protecting me. I knew he was always protective of me I think the reason he had told Philip to protect me was, because he knew that his consequence for going against admiral Williams would end up in him dying.

I couldn't see what was going on, but I heard the slashing of swords and men screaming. Then it was silent for a bit. "Admiral Williams, you have something that belongs to me, I would like it back." It had to be Captain Townsend. "I see you've already dealt with Captain Lockhart."

He was talking about father, my mind went back to the images of seeing my dead father, and him dying in my arms. I hated admiral Williams I wanted revenge. He killed my father out of greed.

"I'll be having me map back now, savvy?"

"I will not give my map to a pirate." Admiral Williams said while laughing.

"that's where you made a mistake, mate." Then I once again heard slashing of swords. Everyone was once again fighting. The soldiers and pirates, I knew by the end of this a lot of soldiers would be injured, or even dead.

I heard so many footsteps clanking I felt weak because I couldn't do anything. I wanted to cry. I don't know if it was because I was stuck in this small closet, but that confident feeling had gone away.

I felt alone even though I knew Philip was right outside of this small closet protecting me that's when I took in everything that had happened today. I silently wept for a bit then wiped my tears.

'CLANK,BOOM,BOOM' it was the door to the captains chamber and the door had just been broken down. I peaked through the little hole in between the closet doors. I was afraid not for myself, but for Philip.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here." I heard the sound of a sword. "Who ye be protecting mate? we just here to pick up something for the captain." It was one of Townsend's crew maybe two? I only could tell by the voices I heard.

"Look around Marty see if you can find anything." One pirate said to another. There was definitely at least two of them here.

"No, I can't let you do that." It was Philip he was fine oh thank God he's ok. I then heard swords clanging in the room. "Give up boy." One of the pirates said "never." Philip replied. I then heard a thud.

"Hehehe, good job Marty, let him sleep." The two pirates then looked around. I heard the noises of things falling and ripping.

"It ain't here, Dax." The other pirate said to the one before. I held the necklace I was wearing tightly I knew they were going to check here.

"We didn't check this closet Marty, we outta check now." They both headed towards the closet. I heard the doors open I closed my eyes, and then opened them I then gasped when I saw the two pirates.

"What do we have here, a lady." One of the pirates said. "A pretty lady." The other one said. "Grab her Marty." The other pirate grabbed me.

"Let go of me you filthy pirate." I said to the pirate that grabbed me. "She a feisty one mate hold her tight." At that moment I wanted to kick both of these them for begin so rude to me.

"Give me the map, dearie." I had forgotten I had the map in my hands.

"No." I acted like I wasn't scared, but I was terrified. I then felt something hit my head. I fell the the floor, and before my eyes closed I saw the pirates steal the map that was once in my hands.
