Townsend was the first to enter, and I was right behind him. The rest of the crew was right behind us, and there were six pirates guarding the entrance of the cove.

We walked a little while. It was dark, while walking to the cove. There were many paths. The only way we could get through was if I could look at my map.

"I'll need someone to hold my torch so that I can read the map in order to lead us into treasure cove." I said to Townsend. "Dax, come here." Captain Townsend yelled.

"Aye captain," Dax said as he ran over to us. "Hold Ms. Lockhart's torch so she get read the map." Townsend ordered Dax. "Aye!" He said as he took the torch from my hand and held it for me.

I grabbed out my map while Dax held the torch for me so that I could see. I then proceeded to walk in the direction I needed to go.

"We should just take the straight path, and we'll be there." I said. "Aye, then let's follow Ms. Lockhart." Townsend said to the rest of the crew.

We then kept walking through the cave to get reach treasure cove. Townsend then walked beside me.

"After this Ms. Lockhart you'll go back to living your ordinary life." I knew he was right. I wanted to live my old life again, but at the same time I didn't.

I loved the sense of adventure, and even though I may have been scared I still had an amazing journey. I also had to admit that I did like Captain Townsend. He was a smart and k ew his way around the ocean.

I just kept my head down as I did not know what to say. "You know you could go back to your old life once this is over, or you could come with me and travel while going on amazing adventures."

I paused for minute try to take in what Townsend just offered me. "I'm not sure." I said as I didn't know what to say.

"Well why don't you think about it first, and then get back to me." I nodded and we had finally reached are destination. Then we heard footsteps behind us, footsteps that were running towards us. Everyone grabbed out their swords.

Townsend pushed me behind him. "Stay behind me." I had a sword of my own on me so I didn't get why he would do that. "But- b," I said stuttering "stay behind me, end of discussion."

Townsend said in an annoyed tone. I didn't say anything, and just did as he said. I know this meant he wanted to keep me safe, and protect me. I have to admit I was happy, but also scared at the same time wondering if the Royal Navy had caught up to us yet.

"Captain, captain, captain." We heard men screaming. We saw all six men that were supposed to be guarding the entrance.

"We saw a Royal Navy ship, while we were at our post, captain the Royal Navy is coming this way now, we don't have much time." That's when everyone put there swords done including Townsend. "Aye, thanks for informing me mates."

Townsend then turned around and entered treasure cove. "Come on we don't have much time." They'll be here any minute." Townsend said. I then also walked into treasure cove, and the rest of the crew followed.

"Alright, Mates start looking for the ring of immorality, if ye find something of value to ye take it, we be pirates after all." Townsend said as he smiled.

"If ye find the ring DO NOT PUT IT ON, report to me first, aye?!" Townsend made sure to tell the crew before they touched the treasure. "Aye, captain." They all replied. "Alright get to work."

All the pirates started running around the cove looking for the ring like it was their life mission. I saw Dax, and Marty trying to persuade Philip to help them look. I looked around, and saw treasure.

I mean to me all this treasure meant nothing to me, but only thing caught my eye. It was a beautiful ring with a pearl on it. It was sitting in a clam that was in a chest.

Townsend saw me eye it. "I believe that is a one of a kind." He said. "It's not special, or anything though it has, nor does it store any magic."

I looked at him. "It is special the way it is." I said to him. "Aye, I can see you do very much love it. We then heard someone scream "The Royal Navy is here!" We all turned to the entrance of treasure cove where we had just entered not too long ago.

"I thought we would've had more time. I looked at the pearl ring, and knew that I would never have such a beautiful ring. It was only a dream.

Townsend grabbed my hand, and put me behind him. My foot hit the chest, and it closed. "Stay close, and on alert." He whispered.

I could see Philip near Admiral Williams, but not so close since Admiral Williams was not able to see him. He put his finger on lips mouthing "shhhh." I knew he was planning something, but I wasn't sure what.

"Ah, Admiral Williams so good of you to join us." Captain Townsend said. "You're going to give me the ring Townsend." He answered Townsend in an angry tone.

"I had to go through a lot to get here, and I lost some of my soldiers on the way, and it's your fault." Townsend laughed "my fault?, well I'm sorry, sorry that I'm not only quicker, but smarter than you."

He said as he stepped closer, but was still a far distance from the Admiral. "You ain't gonna touch the ring of immortality." Townsend said to Williams. "Why is that?" Williams asked.

"Because I'm kill you first, and once I do that I'm going to destroy it Savvy?"
