{faded love}

I'll tell you a story, of that day, the day something happened, the day he loved in a different way.

Another day, another person. Never one to love. This was his life, full of pathetic lies. Those lies were filled with some things he never wanted to hear. Then one day he saw him, that day he lost his heart. It was no longer his to lose. Being obstinate is a bad thing, they once told him. But what could a lover do, when to him it was not a fling? For the first time in his life, he started loving, believing all the lies told to him.

They were perfect,

as perfect as they could be,

with everything they wanted

and everything they needed to be pleased.

They loved and lived like any other couple,

but the hardships were supposed to be there,

This life was not easy

for any of them anywhere,

because while one tried his best to prove his worth,

the other gave up before the finish line, without giving any effort.

Let me tell you a story, of that day, the day something happened, the day he faded away.

Another day, another person. Never one to love. But he had someone, I swore he did.

That person loved him,

he told him so,

he never wanted to leave

then why did he go?

They were madly in love,

people said so.

But now where are those flowers,

buried a long time ago?

This hate will not end,

for it has just started.

And the day they bury him,

he won't be alone in that coffin.

Someone will be lying beside him,

crying crocodile tears,

the one that came to him,

when no one was near.

He loved him

yet he let him go,

but oh darling,

wasn't that all for the show?

I wrote this poem when I was in my "emo" phase and wanted to write only sad and kinda "make you think what's going on" poems.
