Requested by kagehina0621 // Desc: You've always been a little overweight, and insecure about it. When you got out shopping with Dom, you buy some new clothes which is usually an esteem crushing task. So Dom is quick to comfort you.

*BTW ALL BODIES ARE BEAUTIFUL & THAT INCLUDES URS*

"I need some new clothes for summer," You commented as you passed by the Urban Outfitters in the shopping centre. "We can go if you want," Dom said, beginning to move in the direction of the door.

You moved with him, walking into the store. Walking with you, you went into the store. As you went into the store with Dom and looking through clothes, you both saw two entirely different things.

Dom just saw the cute clothes, the things that he thought would look nice on you, etc. You saw the sizes. Their larger sizes still looked like they wouldn't fit you. You'd always been bigger, probably considered overweight.

No matter how many times Dom assured he didn't care, it didn't matter if he cared or not, it mattered to you. You didn't like how you looked, so Dom telling you he loved how you looked, wouldn't change it for you.

"This is gorgeous Y/N," Dom said, holding up a pink slip dress. You paused for a moment before responding. Slip dresses were always iffy for you. Those dresses always stuck to your body, which you hated.

"It is pretty," You said absentmindedly, trying to act uninterested. "Do you wanna try it on?" He asked, beginning to go through the sizes. You quickly took over the picking of sizes. It was for the sake of yours and his embarrassment.

You didn't want to be, purposefully or non purposefully insulted by him picking a bigger size, or want to have to through the shame of the smaller size he picked not fitting you. You went through the rack, pulling out one of the middle sizes.

Walking with Dom, you went into the dressing room, getting out of your t-shirt and jeans. Taking off your clothes, you tried to pull the dress over yourself. You immediately knew it wasn't going to work.

The dress wasn't going to go over your thighs. No way in hell. Pulling the dress back off, you poked your head back out over the curtain. "Everything alright in there?" He asked, smiling at the sight of you a little.

"Not gonna fit. Won't get over my legs," You said, holding the dress back out. "That's cool, I'll go get the bigger size," He said, walking over to the rail. You hid your head for a few moments until Dom got back with the next size.

He soon came back with the new size and you went to try it on. You put it on and immediately felt as though you wanted to cry. It fit over your legs this time, but still was more tight than it needed to be, and extremely uncomfortable.

Getting this dress off, you moved your head out of the door again. "No luck?" He asked. "Just too tight," You said, holding it out, comforted by the fact that he wasn't making a big deal out of it. He was just sat absentmindedly, on his phone.

An employee had come over, and Dom took the opportunity. "Excuse me, do you have this in a bigger size?" He asked. She took the dress, and looked at the label, looking at the size. She looked at the size, then at you.

"No, we don't do sizes that big here," She said before walking off.

Dom immediately had a disgusted look on his face. It wasn't what she said, it was how she said it. As though you were some gross thing for walking in here and expecting to buy a dress at your size.

That was how you took it anyways. As quick as you could, you put your clothes back on. They were baggy and hid all of your body, which was how you liked it. But you couldn't stop thinking about it.

How she'd said it. Was that how people really saw you? Before you knew it, tears welled in your eyes. You began to cry, holding your head in your hands. "Hey, Y/N, are you okay?" Dom asked, knowing how long you'd been in there.

There was no reply from you but he heard your crying. He quickly pulled back the curtain and saw how upset you were. Pulling back the curtain to cover you, he quickly pulled you into a tight hug.

"Hey, my sweet girl, what's wrong?" He asked, running his hand through your hair softly. "Why am I so fat?!" You asked, crying into his shoulder. He gently soothed you, holding your body softly.

"My love, there is nothing wrong with being fat, you say it like it's such a bad thing," He said softly. "You're completely healthy, there's nothing wrong with your body, please don't talk about yourself so negatively," He smiled.

Kissing you softly, he lay his hand around your thigh. "Can I just say, it's Urban Outfitters fault their clothes don't fit your gorgeous thighs," He teased, running his hand down your thigh, rubbing it gently.

As much as you hated your thighs, Dom absolutely loved them. He found them attractive, so it was nice to get a little bit of comfort for them. Dom's joke made you giggle as you left the hug, smiling softly.

"C'mon, fuck this place. I say we go get some ice cream, there's a great place nearby," He said, beginning to lead you out of the store. "As long as you're paying," You teased, taking his hand in yours.
