"So you really don't agree about Janko?" Danny asked Linda as they tidied up before heading up to sleep.
"Of course I don't agree. She was in the heat of the moment, the-the... she didn't lie." Linda tossed her shoes into the closet. "The attorney general has her head in her ass."
Danny smiled, "oh yeah?"
"Yeah! Eddie says she takes the phone out, even though he took it out and put it on the pavement. How the hell does that get her jammed up?"
"Exactly! It's like getting called out because you... put the yogurt away first instead of the jell-o."
Linda chuckled, "it's not that simple, but yes. I was trying to make the point to the boys that it's not okay to lie."
"Even though Janko didn't lie."
"You and I both know that." Linda shook her head, "let's go to bed."
"An excellent idea."
