"A girl," Danny mumbled under his breath late that night. He shook his head as he laid beneath the covers.

"What, you don't think girls can beat boys?" Linda asked, turning to face him.

He did the same, "Linda, I didn't-"

"Girls can't beat boys, right? Because they're small and weak and fragile, delicate little flowers. Is that it?"

"Linda, I didn't-"

But he never got to do finish because she quickly and easily pushed him onto his back, laying on top of him. She pinned his arms above his head on the pillow, and kissed him until his already-swollen lips swelled more and he was out of breath.

She flicked her head, effectively tossing hair from her face without using her hands. "Sorry I had to get tough with you, but you had to learn."

"Mm, I think I like it rough," he flipped them over, pinning her hands above her in the same way she had done to him.

Her surprised, delighted laugh was cut short as he kissed her with passion. "I love you," she said between hot kisses that made her dizzy.

"I love you most," he said, skipping over the middle more. "I really do. I hope you know that."

"I do," she responded truthfully. She kissed him deeply, glad that they were (and are) going to be okay.
