Danny pulled the shower curtain back and, at this point, Linda wasn't even surprised. They both had absolutely no boundaries when it came to the shower, unless explicitly stated otherwise (which hardly ever happened).

"You're mad at me."

"I'm not mad, I'm annoyed." Linda washed the last bit of shampoo out of her hair and held her hands up. "There's a difference."

She bent over to grab her conditioner and squirted it in her hands. "When I'm mad at you, you'll know."

"Why are you annoyed with me?"

She gave him a look of disbelief. "You're seriously asking me that question?"

"Yes, I don't know."

She rolled her eyes, men. "I'm not your maid, Danny. I don't mind cooking your breakfast- that's not the problem. The problem is when you leave your dirty dishes on the counter, when the sink is literally four feet behind you. It's only going to take seven seconds of your time to wash your dishes and put them in the dishwasher."

"That's it?" He asked as she went under the spray.

"No, as a matter of fact, that's not it."

"Is it about the lawn?"

"No, it's not about the lawn! I knew you'd get it done, even though you promised to do it yesterday. And even if you don't do it, I'll just pay Jeffery three dollars to do it. He's more than happy to mow our lawn."

He was about to counter with something (stupid) again, when she cut him off.

"No, I'm mad at you because you mocked me."

"What? I've never mocked you," he ignored her yeah, right scoff. "When did I mock you?" He challenged.

Linda moved forward and to the side, facing him. She threw her arms out and repeated with scary accuracy, "Huh! I didn't mow the lawn!"

"Ring any bells, detective?" She shut the water off and pushed past him.

"That wasn't mocking."

"Then what was it? An apology?" She shook her head and plugged in her dryer, "forget it. I have to dry my hair."

"Linda—"

She turned the dryer on, ignoring Danny as he walked out. "I saw that," she said referring to his eye roll right as he stepped into the bedroom.
