Chapter 22: Bad days with him

Aizaia Yzabelle's POV

It's monday... again! I'm still lying on my bed and feeling lazy to get up.

"Aizaia, bumangon ka na. Your first class will start at 9:30 AM." Monique reminded me. I looked at the clock and it's 8:20 AM already. Tsk tagal pa naman.

Tinatamad akong bumangon, tinatamad akong maligo, at tinatamad din akong pumasok sa klase.

"Aizaia" Monique warned at tuluyan na kong tumayo. Okay I get it, she's the boss!

"Can I skip classes today?" I asked, not because I'm lazy, I have other reasons also.

"Why would you?" She asked, I was thinking about something, since Zyair's coronation will be held two days after.

"Basta. Magpapaalam ako kay Lady Soleil, I'm sure papayag yun." I said and smirked.

I went out of the room and went to her office right away.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Mom? Are you there?" I called her and she opened the door.

"What do you need, Shaniel? Is there anything wrong?" She asked. Huh kailan pa siya naging concern sakin? Anyways.

"I just want to ask permission, can I skip classes today may pupuntahan po kase kami ni Zyair eh. I'm planning to surprise him." I said and she noded immidiately.

"Okay. Just to remind you, your curfew will be 8 PM." She answered. Yes sabi na papayag siya basta kasama si Zyair eh!

I immidiately went back to my room to take a shower. After doing that, I went to my walk in closet to pick something to wear. Hmmm wala akong mahanap na pang-OOTD.

"Monique, can I borrow your clothes? No more buts'" I asked. Mukhang nagulat naman ito at agad akong kinuhaan ng damit niya pati na rin para sa panglalaki.

"Here you go, Aizaia. I have no idea on what are you up to, but I doesn't sounds great." She honestly said. Well, I take that as a compliment.

"Thanks for the concern, bye bye!" Paalam ko at lumabas na ng kwarto.

I went to Zyair's office which is located in the highest floor of the castle. Nakakatamad umakyat ng hagdanan pero sige, gagawin ko para exercise.

After I climbed up the stairs with almost one thousand steps, pinunasan ko muna ang pawis ko. Ugh I just took a bath awhile ago yet I'm sweating right away!

I was about to enter Zyair's office when Cheif Benedict blocked me. Aba anong problema neto?

Ano gusto niya suntukan? Char.

"The Prince is busy, you can go back later." He said. I just frowned and was about to leave but the door opened.

"Chief Benedict--- Aizaia? What are you doing here?" I looked back and saw Zyair smiling at me.

"I was about to visit you, but Chief Benedict said that you're busy." I said at lihim na binelatan si Chief Benedict, inirapan naman ako neto.

"I'm not that busy, come in to my office." He said at hinila ako papasok. Mukhang aangal sana si Chief Benedict pero huli na dahil sinara ko na ang pinto.

I was shocked when he suddenly hugged me.

"Thank you for comming, I badly want to see you, but my paper works doesn't allow me to." He said at napatingin naman ako sa desk niya na tinambak na ng mga papeles.

I hugged him back. "Zyair, don't strain yourself too much, you also need to rest. I know you're soon-to-be King of Bethony, but you should also take care of your self." I said with concern, he's a human after all, not a robot.
