Carter

I'm tired mane.

I been helping Nini pack her orders then on top of that I been in school and working with Nini dad.

Yup I decided to get in the drug business because a nigga just wanted to get more money.

This college shit lame to me now.

I was studying business, but Mr. Johnson already started teaching me how to do shit and be my own boss.

I didn't tell her about it tho because she would've got mad.

She be saying how it's dangerous and she don't want me to get hurt, but her dad got me.

We get along well too. Yeah we had a rough lil start, but we have a real close relationship now.

Like shit me and yo daughter grown. You can't shelter her forever.

"Waddup bae" I seen her wandering the halls on her phone.

"Oh hey baby wassup? Why you not in class?" She said putting her phone in her back pocket and taking a sip of her sprite.

"I already had class. I was just waiting on you so that we can finish up these orders real quick. Didn't you say we had like 20?" I asked leaning against the wall.

"Yeah let me check right now because I think I got more" she pulled her phone back out to check

I gave her a second.

"Oh ok we only have 40 orders today." She said

"Bet you wanna start now? Or tonight" I asked.

"Now cause I'm tryna do something with you tonight" she bit her lip.

"Shiiiii them shits can wait. Let's go" I said excited.

"No nigga. I wanna go out tonight. My birthday in a couple days so I kinda just wanna chill and not worry about work." She said sounding tired at the word work.

"Oh nah fr tho. We do need a little break. We tired as hell" I said understanding.

She nodded.

"I wanna go to the club" She said

"Sue's ." I asked.

"Yeah" she nodded.

"Bet let's go get this shit done so we can get ready" I said walking with her.

Lei

"So we official?" I just blurted out as me and Laysia was getting out feet done.

"Duh! Did you come out to your parents yet?" she asked looking at her feet.

"No" I said nervously

"Why?" She looked over at me with a look of concern.

"I mean of course I'm scared. I just don't know how to approach them with it you know?" I shrugged.

"Yeah I get you. If they don't support you that's ok. I'm here for you bae, you know that right ?" She said seriously but softly.

"Yeah I know. Imma find the right time to say something. I might just call my sister and tell her. She seem like she'll be understanding" I nodded slightly.

"Yeah she's really sweet. I doubt she'd judge you. Plus we in a day in age where mfs are more accepting now even though it's a lot of homophobic bitches out there." She threw in.

"You right you right. Imma call her tonight" I said.

"Good" she nodded and went back to relaxing in the pedicure chair.

Me and my sister don't really talk as much. She knows that when I was younger, I had issues and shit because we talked about it. Before she went off to college our relationship started to grow closer, but when she went off I guess school and Carter made her forget about me a little bit. I'm not mad at her tho. It's just I really miss her being at home. Her uppity spirit always makes the room lighter and more fun.

I planned to talk to her about my relationship with Malaysia and also the way I want to live my life.

When I was younger I didn't really know if I was straight, bi, pan, or whatever. But I'm lesbian. I only like girls, but Laysia the only one that got my heart.

Hopefully she accepts me because if my parents don't , at least I know that she got my back.
