Sydney's POV:
It's been two months and everything is back to normal for the most part. Elle hasn't talked to me since I was found and I was starting to get worried that our friendship was coming to an end.
I was sitting at my desk when I saw her get up and head to the bathroom. I knew it wasn't a good idea but I followed her. I walked in to see her splashing water on her face.
"Y-you okay?" I ask
"I'm good" she mumbles
"Elle-"
"I don't wanna hear it" she says coldly
"Come on it's been two months Elle" I sigh
"Two months!?" She says softly
I knew she was about to raise hell
"It has been approximately 1 year 4 months and 14 days since I went to your funeral Sydney!"
"Elle-"
"I buried you then I saw you again, found out there was no one in the coffin and found out you were below us BELOW US SYDNEY! everyday that I walked on this ground you were being tortured under my feet and I could've done something-"
"No! you couldn't have done anything Elle and I wish everyone would stop blaming themselves because this is my fault. I'm the one who went out, I AM the one who got kidnapped so stop trying to take the blame!"
"I wasn't there Sydney!" She yells
"What?"
"I wasn't there for you and I'm the one who told you to look at your phone! If I wouldn't have done that then you wouldn't have been getting tortured everyday" she cries
I walk up and pulled her in for a hug
"I'd go through it all again to protect you babe, I love you Elle, if I have to be burned alive to protect you then I'd do it times three"
She pulls back and wipes the rest of her tears
"Now what's going on? With you and Quinn"
"How'd you-"
"I had a feeling" I say
"She doesn't wanna have a baby and I really want a family"
"Yea Quinn has never been a family person"
She sobs
"But that doesn't mean she can't be! Do you want me to talk to her?"
"Will you?"
"Of course! jayje and I are talking about having another baby b-"
"Oh my gosh really!" Her eyes light up
"Yea, she's gonna carry the baby this time"
"That's amazing"
I pull her in for one final hug "I missed you Elle"
"I missed you too" she says
"Are we good?"
She nods
"Now go talk to my girlfriend.. please" she giggles
"I'm on it babe" I wink at her before leaving
I go back to the bullpen
"Hey what happened in there?" Jennifer asks
"We made up!" I say
"That's really good baby!" She kisses me on the lips
