Sydney's POV:
The whole family was excited about the new baby except for Henry, he had this weird smile on his face like he wanted to cry but he was pretending to be happy.
"Hey Hen what's going on? Are you excited?" I ask
"Yeah but I'm gonna go to my room Uh, the boys are waiting for me to hop on"
"Wait-"
"Okay" I say interrupting JJ
We let him run upstairs and the doorbell rang
"Babe will you see Lilly's delinquent girlfriend in? I'm gonna go talk to Henry really quick"
She nods with a slight chuckle and I run upstairs, slowly making my way to Henry's room.
"Hey bud"
"Hi mom"
"You didn't seem very excited about the new baby"
"I am I just.. it's nothing"
"Henry"
"It's stupid"
"Well tell me about it so I can clarify whether it's stupid or not"
"I just don't wanna be forgotten" he says looking back at his game
"Henry you're not gonna be forgotten"
"Really mom? because no one ever pays attention to me, you haven't met my girlfriend and you've been back for almost four months, the triplets get attention from everyone because they're triplets and Lilly gets attention because let's face it she's Lilly. You and mom work all the time, I'm not complaining but I wish everyone just gave me a little more attention" he says
"Hen I'm sorry, I had no idea that you felt this way"
"I'm not much of a talker" he slightly chuckles
"Listen, how about you invite your girlfriend over tonight so I can meet her and she can stay the night with Lilly of course and we will have a pool day, Jayje and I have the day off tomorrow so we can have all day to do whatever you want"
"Really!"
"Uh huh"
"That's awesome mom!" He says in excitement
"Henry I know this won't make up for every time and there will be more times that we are absent but I can try to be more present for you"
"I understand mom"
"No you don't" I sigh "I was absent for most of LillyAnne's life and the last thing I want to do is make you feel like I'm taking your mom away from you and I want to make sure I'm giving you enough attention"
"I do understand mom, you are a grown up and you have other responsibilities that don't include me"
"Ugh Henry, you're such an amazing son" I pull him in for a tight hug
He hugs me then tries to pull back but I won't let him go.
"Mom" he laughs
"I know, just one more minute because pretty soon you'll be 18 and moving out and going to college and forgetting about me" I sigh
"How could I forget about my attempted murderer" he jokes, out of breath because I was squeezing him too tight
"I'm sorry" I laugh
I pull back from the hug and start for the door
"You know Henry, we don't pay enough attention to you because we don't have too" I say before reaching the door
