Sydney's POV
After sending the baby off to surgery I check up with Mark and Bailey.
"Avery is gonna build the skin graft today and we can do the surgery tomorrow"
"In the mean time we need to get Jessie checked in" Bailey says
"Can I help with the skin graft" Jessie asks
"Uhh no, leave that to the doctors" I chuckle
"Can I at least watch?"
"That's up to Doctor Sloan" I look up at him
"Of course, I'll even teach you how it's done"
"Awesome!" Jes yells
"Okay just please try not to mess anything up" I smile
I walk out of the room to try and find Meredith but a woman in a suit walks up to me.
"Sydney Rollins?"
"In the flesh"
"Funny. I'm Angela, here to talk to you about Jessie I'm his social worker"
"Okay, how about we go into my old office"
I walk her down the hall to my office, and we both sit.
"So what's this about?"
"Jessie is a troubled teen a-are you sure you want to go forward with his adoption?"
"I'm sure?"
She pulls out a file
"He's been in juvie a total of five times for vandalism, stealing and three times fighting"
"Okay?"
"I'm just worried that he will cause a lot of.. trouble-"
"I know Jessie and i can tell you that he will not be a problem, if Jessie's behavior is all you had to talk about-"
"I hear that you were concerned about one of the babies that you found!" She says before I could get up
"Yes that's right but-"
"Her name is Evelyn"
"Well that fits right in" I smile
"She's one and a half and her birthday is September 11th" she says quickly
"I'm sorry.. do you want something from me?" I ask
"No, we'll- just a recommendation from my boss I uh, I haven't been doing so well and I've been the social worker for every one of those kids that Madison had-"
"It's not your fault you didn't know"
"But I should have! and this is gonna make a big dent on my career but your the Sydney Rollins I mean.. if I send three children home with you-"
"Okay I'll see what I can do Angela but I have to talk to my wife first"
"Wife? You're married?"
"Technically no subliminally yes"
I walk out of the office to find Jessie, luckily for me he was in the room right next to JJ's
JJs POV
As I was wrapping my head around everything I hear Sydney's voice coming from the other room, I could quite make out what she was saying so I walked closer.
"You could've told me about all of this Jessie this is serious stuff!" Sydney says
"I know Syd and I'm sorry"
