"Syd!"
"Sydney!"
I hear muffled screaming of my name in my ears, they all sound pretty worried but I'm to tired to care as I let my thoughts take over me.
"Sydney!"
They become clearer
"Sydney please wake up"
JJ? why is she calling my name? I'm not even sleeping
"Come on little sis you cannot let pool water take you out"
Syenna? Why are you crying? I'm fine I'm right here"
Suddenly I feel pressure on my chest, it kind of hurts but it's rather relieving, fluids start to come up and I'm choking again but my eyes burst open and I cough up water.
"Mommy!" Lilly yells before wrapping her arms around me
"I'm fine" I smile pulling her off of me
Everyone was crowded around me as I fought my breath which made things very awkward and uncomfortable.
"I don't mean to be rude but I-I'm fine Uhm, can you guys please continue what you were doing? The crowd is really unsettling for me"
Most everyone puts their hand on my shoulder before continuing back to what they were doing in the pool.
"Why didn't you swim Sydney?" Alex asks me
"I-I dunno I guess I forgot" I say sadly
"You forgot or were you trying to die" Emily says
"In front of everyone? yea that's a real smooth move Em, I wish it would've worked" I say sarcastically
I quickly get up and storm inside the house with Alex and Syenna running after me.
"Sydney Marie why didn't you swim back up?" Syenna yells
"I told you I forgot, I-I jumped and a memory caught me, I didn't know I was in the pool I thought I was with Noel b-being drowned"
Alex pulls me in for a hug but I pull back.
"Please don't hug me" I say softly
"What do you need?" Syenna says
"Alcohol" I say blankly
I go to the kitchen and pull a bottle of tequila from the alcohol rack and start chugging it
"How about you put that down Syd" Alex says
I shake my head and continue chugging
"Woah what are you doing?" JJ walks in "why is she drinking"
"Because she had a flashback and Emily accusing her of wanting to die didn't help at all" Alex says softly
"I've literally had enough of this bitch" JJ rolled her eyes "why would you say that to her!"
"I was just trying to figure out-"
"You literally always do this-"
I throw the bottle at the wall in front of me and everyone gives me a shocked look. I pause for a moment taking in everything that just happened in the last five minutes.
"Emily I hope you're a better mother than you are a friend" I run upstairs
JJ's POV:
"Get out" I say lowly
"What?"
"Get out of my house I do not want you here anymore!"
"I want to spend time with my children"
