I open my eyes to find Meredith, Maggie, and Lexi towering over me, faces full of anger. Relief washes over me as I realize I can speak without the agony that once silenced me.
"You faked your death!" Meredith says
"Oh my gosh" I sigh
"Why would you do that?" Maggie says
"To protect people" I say
They lock eyes with me, their expressions shifting as they realize I'm not in the mood to discuss it.
"Well I'm glad you're okay" Lexie says
"More or less" I giggle
Just as we start to calm down, Syenna walks in, throwing Meredith and Maggie into a panic.
"Sydney? But you're-"
"That's my twin sister well- triplet"
"What!"
"Also I'm British, I just can do an American accent... well Sydney's accent rather" Syenna smiles
"It's too complicated but we were all split that's why you never met her" I say
"And the other ones just insane" Alex says
"Well hi" Maggie says "and you are?"
"Alex Blake, their adopted sister"
"I met her before" Lexie says
"Who Syenna?"
"Yea she was the secret patient in the psychiatric unit. Bailey made me take her blood"
"Wow-"
"Let's not talk about that right now love" Syenna scoffs
Harrison walks through the door
"My favorite sisters" he smiles
"Mhm cute" I laugh
"Guys is it okay If I have a talk with Alex and Syenna" I say
"Of course" Meredith says
"We'll be here if you need anything" Maggie says
"What are we gonna do about Cara guys we can't let her stay in there"
"In jail!" Syenna says "yes we can"
"Sea he tricked her" I say
"She also tried to kill you and Alex, no!"
"I agree with Syenna on this one Syd, she's easily tricked we can't trust her" Alex says
"Fine!" I say
"We're gonna go with Jennifer to your house is that okay?" Syenna asks
"It's fine" I sigh
"Don't beat yourself up!" Alex says
"I'm not!" I snap
"You have an attitude" she says
"No I don't"
"Yes you do"
"Alex!"
"I'm just stating the obvious!"
"Please go!"
"Fine!" She smiles, knowing that she made me mad.
Time skip 1 week
JJ's POV:
Sydney's doctor has given her the green light to go home, mentioning that her wounds have healed nicely. The only thing she needs to do is take care of her stitches. Although she's cleared to leave, the doctor advised her not to work just yet. So, I informed Emily that I won't be returning until Sydney is able to join me.
