D:255 is a semi corporeal man that when hearing a humans voice will seek out that human to kill them. 255 is highly sensitive to loud noises so they in theory can help stop 255 attacks but such things will lead to multiple casualties. 255 was discovered inhabiting the basement of a bookstore, and being fed by the owner who was using 255 as a guard dog
